I'm in for the lei's. Thanks for doing that, Cheryl. The halloween costumes DD & I are wearing came in the mail yesterday. Surprisingly, mine fits and is pretty cute! DD has to have hers taken in a bit, must be hard to go through life with a 28" waist. So look for us at the DCA party on 10/17 as Alice and Princess Aurora!

Yeah, I asked her if she was going to but she hasn't responded.

I'm just not sure of fully submerging Osita into that kind of enviornment, she has rarely seen another dog in her life. I know! It's bad and she should have been socialized early on but having a shelter dog attack her at 5 weeks old really frightened me.

She has played with my cousin's dog for a bit but he's so big and he wanted to get it on and I'm like "MY BABY!"

I'm not sure what we all are doing. This past weekend I found a really cool masquerade mask in Old Town Sacramento. It kind of has a pirate look to it, so I might wear that and dress up the part. Anyways, that was the best costume store I have ever been to. So if anyone ever gets there, go to Evangeline's Costume Mansion. 3 stories of room after room, all themed stuff imaginable. It was so much fun! My friend bought a Viking hat. Hilarious!! Maybe I should wear that instead.

Well my trip with you gals was offically veto'd. We did Kauai this past March and DH really wants to go back, sans the rest of our family so we can do more of what we wanted. He is hoping we can go in April (as long as I'm working still), that means no spending before hand. especially since we'll be at Disney this Fall. I'm a little disappointed however I LOVE Kauai and I'm thrilled he wants to go back. i definitely did NOT get enough snorkel time in. Sorry all.. I'll be watching your thread and living vicariously through you!

Howdy Ladies!!

It's time for the good news/bad news posting.


Good news - my Dec WDW trip is back on!!




Bad news - I have been laid off as of Noon today

But let's concentrate on the Good News, it's much happier.

If I manage to find a full time job between now and Dec I'll just make sure to tell them ALL my disney trips from now to Dec 09. LOL I'll take the time off without pay! Otherwise, back to one or two weeks of temp work at a time,if I can find any. Which is a lot easier to work around.


So that's how my day's been. Aren't you glad I posted.

Of course now I'm tempted to pencil back in March 09 with you guys. I'll have to wait and see if my sister's trip in Nov 09 happens or not. I should know by the new year, I hope. I'm such a sucker for vacations.

ok girls--40 leis ordered and will be here by Sept. 22nd--in plenty of time for the mini-meet! Total cost was just under $57, so cost for two each is $2.85.
