Beth: I think I've confirmed but if not, yes, I am coming too.
I spent Saturday and most of Sunday at DLR--got a good rate at Paradise Pier Hotel and was going to stay two nights, but boyfriend didn't want to stay for Sunday so he left early and then I played around at Calif. Adventure mostly yesterday and came home in the afternoon.
It was really fun . . .but hot and HUMID!!!! That was not fun, but the crowds were pretty light--HM and Pirates were walk-ons--I went on Buzz 6 times (twice with fastpasses) ; did the Nemo "observation room"--since I don't want to go down the stairs of the sub-- it was cute--no need to do it again however. OH! and I had a "Tinkerbelle Twist"--based, I think on your recommendation. My first sips were "uh oh"--don't think I like this--but enjoyed it by the end! I of course didn't go on any of the "mountains" so don't know what the lines were like for that. We did Soarin' on Saturday and the line was maybe 25 minutes. We did Toy Story Mania twice--once the regular line (25 minutes) second time we did the single rider line (which would have been short, but we asked to go in the handicapped area so I would not have to do the stairs and we had quite a wait--maybe 15 minutes--there).
We also walked into the Animation Academy and Turtle Talk and Bug's show. None of the lines in Bug's Land were long--virtual walk-ons. Didn't notice what the line was like for Screamin'. Yesterday afternoon the lines were walk-on (Snow White/Pinocchio) to 20-30 minutes (Toad/Pan) in Fantasyland--which is not bad.
We had dinner Saturday night in the Vineyard Room--first time I had been there. I had the famous Rosa Regale champagne--it was delish! We shared a flatbread appetizer and a ravioli second course and then by the time our entrees came out I was full! Which I guess in retrospect was good since I didn't like my entree AT ALL. I ordered lobster and they put paprika (ok) and cayenne pepper on it! Yuck! The combination was not good. Steve ate most of it in addition to his entree (but he wasn't hungry

). The waiter noticed I didn't like it and wanted to take it off the bill, but I insisted on us paying for it because after all, Steve did eat it.

He did offer a free dessert and we took that. They served dessert after we watched the Electrical Parade from up high--a different perspective (but I think I like being down closer to the action better).
So, a fun weekend (but of course now I'm paying for it with too much work!)
