Ok so Friday started off just like any other. Then I coughed....and oh my goodness what a mistake. When I coughed I felt something pop in my side, right where all my pain had been to begin with. It pretty much just took my breath away. I was in such excruciating pain. I ended up leaving work and calling my Dr. I really thought I might have broke my rib. This has been going on for weeks now...enough is enough. I called the Dr and they said expect a call back within 4 hours to see if your Dr can see you. Nice....2.5 hours later I get a call saying they can't see me until Wednesday. By this time I'm feeling a little better. I took some advil and the cough medicine my dr had given me with vicodin in it. I was desperate it hurt so bad. It feels better...at least back to what it's felt like the past few weeks. My dr said you can pop a rib and it pops right back in place. Whatever that means, anyway that's what she thinks I did. Oh ouchie....so anyway that's my day, but I so love the Mickey Head Tye Dye shirts!

We just got home from a funeral for the mother of a very good friend of ours. She had ALS, and has been suffering for maybe 3 years. It had gotten very bad for the whole family, in that she couldn't eat, speak, do anything for herself at all. So while I know it was very hard for them to lose their mom, I think it was a bit of a relief, too. KWIM?
So we spent the day in Tracy with a bunch of Marty's high school friends. It was great to see them, since we son't get together as much lately, but just a sad reason to do it.
And now I am 20 pages behind on this thread! I'm not sure I will have a chance to read back, so if anything important happened, please let me know.

I just got our cds this week too. THREE of them. I was in charge of a photopass share. I've been making copies of the cd's.

You were right...this has been a real pain. I just want my life back. This really got me down in the dumps and depressed.

Well that stinks. I was planning on being on of the seat holders with you or anyone else. My kids never want to wait that long to save seats and I love sitting in the front . Oh well.

You already threw her under the bus when you guys were planning the last trip. And she said there was no way she was going to do them .

She said she wouldn't do them for everybody. But I think she would be willing to do a few here and there. If you ask nicely.

I will say these are not as bad as some tie dyes. Maybe we can get her to give us a group price?

The color should be the same though because the whole thing about color is it helps us find each other in the crowd, esp when on a tour. At least limit it to two color choices. I vote for blue because if you look at that family photo, it works. The tie dye Mickey itself is so prominent, to do it in a brighter color is too much (imho).

Don't forget that depending on the weather next year, we maybe covering up these short sleeved tee shirts. Today is end of April and it's chilly (for a California girl).

I like the idea of everyone wearing their own shirt. I know I have my own tie dye shirt, and there are a few other ladies as well. I don't think we would be up for buying new ones. Everyone can just wear the tie dye of their choice.

I have a tie dye shirt I bought years ago from Fashion Bug or someplace similar and I love it! I don't know if it looks dorky on me or not but I don't care. It's fun to wear. And it's not bright at all so I'd definitely be up for one in some softer colors. Here is a pic of my tie dye tee I wore to DL last October.

I still wear this all the time. I just wore it this morning to walk the twins to school. Plus I love that it's v-neck. I can't wear a crew neck tee. It has to be a v-neck or scoop neck for me or I feel like I am choking.

Were we seperated at birth?!? I'm the same way...no crew necks. I'd rather go topless! I do like that color. I don't think it looks dorky at all.

This picture also reminds me that I wish I had bought one of those lime green mickeys like you have on your lanyard. I saw them in one store while we were there, but didn't get it. I got the mickey keychain that is made of the same material as the antenae toppers, and it broke on the way home.

If the person that got my name in the exchange happens to be at Disney this weekend for MA, get me one of those lime green mickey's!

I am so sorry to hear this. I hope that they are doing ok.

My DH's grandma died of Lou Gehrig's Disease (ALS). We actually spent a good month there in 2005 taking care of her. My DH had to carry her around towards the end. She had no use of any muscles. It is a terrible disease. The poor woman could not even eat.

I hate when the doctors say that. And then they wonder why all the hospitals in California have to close - it's because they're sending everyone to use ER when they could be seeing a doctor in an office vizzy instead.

Agreed. I wasn't saying everyone would have to buy this tee, just that for those of us who don't own a tie-dyed shirt <ahem>, maybe we could get a group rate for coming to her. But heck, as long as she doesn't raise her prices, it's fine.

Yep...I was there with my DBF and my son. We ran into some of the Diva's on Friday. We had been there the entire week.

I looked at the thread that showed how to make the tie dye Mickey t-shirts and it looks so easy! I may have to try that myself!! If I do, I'll post my results. They probably won't be as good as on that thread, but hopefully close!!

Is there any more info on the October meet? I'm going to drive to the parks on the 23rd and stay that and the 24th at HoJo, then leave for LAX at 5am on the 25th to go to Florida to meet my parents.

You are so right about that. With being sick for so long it really was somewhat of a turning point for me. I have other health issues anyway, I'm on heart medication so it makes me more sluggish than I should be. So there were plenty of days before this that I didn't feel great. After going through this....I realize I guess I really did feel good then. I changed my outlook on a lot of things while I was sick. I was really excited to get better and change some things about me etc etc. This still is just holding me back so much.
I'm hope I haven't turned this into a poor me thread...you girls have just been so supportive with your messages, PM's and such that it really has helped. This has been so extremely physically and emotionally draining for me.
