Girls Only Trip (old planning thread, see link to new one in 1st post)

Yeah, I think so. I was in the parks on my birthday last year when we went to the Indiana Jones show. That's right. Its coming back to me. Be prepared if he turns to be a true Gemini. :scared1: Just saying.

I forgot you were there!!!!

Oh, Gemini...I was so glad when he went over his due date b/c it took him out of Taurus territory (my dad and stepmom), but I didn't even think about the Gemini thing. I'm Libra, hubby's on a cusp between two signs...there are at least 6 personalities living in this house...:rotfl:

Then you add the Chinese astrology into the mix, and it's a crazy place!

It was on ABC Family. I saw the first 30 minutes and moved on.

Smart girl!

I would love to do Ariel's again - so I would be good with organizing that as a lunch this trip. I also missed the Cove Bar, so that's a must do as well!

I'm thinking I'll be in the group staying at the Grand Californian or Disneyland Hotel. I really want to take advantage of the Magic Mornings and if we have enough people there, we can each get up to 5 others in to the MM :thumbsup2 I'm staying at the Hojo in August and October, so I think it will be time for a splurge - plus it will be my birthday - woo hoo :woohoo: - not saying how old :scared:, but I may need the closeness of the lounge to help with the aging pains!!!

Well, if you stay at Grand Cali.....I will bring my aero bed and join you. Even if I wasn't invited. That's how I roll.

It will be. Don't worry Boo. (totally saying that in Sully's voice)

:rotfl:

You gonna be needing a roomie? Some of us pack into rooms like sardines.

I probably won't in 2010 unless we get a large suite because my mom will be with me but I might if we meet up in October. I don't mind staying alone though. It would be nice to cut costs. I'll be willing to roomie with someone if they need one to save $. Depending on my specific school schedule for the 7 weeks prior to the break in October, I will either join on Thursday afternoon (the 22nd) or Friday the 23rd. I will stay through early Sunday morning. I'll be checking out around 4-5 am to catch a flight to Tampa. I'll probably book HoJo again unless DLH or PP runs an insanely awesome special for AP holders. Doubtful, but we'll just have to wait and see!

Well, the Pooh characters don't excite me, but I thought Minnie's food was good (different from Storyteller's though--not as much choice) so I'm in!

I will totally do Cove Bar again. That was so much fun.
I will skip Ariel's and Segway this time though.
I think Minnie's would be nice for breakfast. Make it a late sitting so we can do park time first, grab fast passes and such, then eat.
I think since the Segway went so well for those who did it last time, it will quickly fill up again this time. I won't do it, lol, but I know we'll get lots of takers on that.

Minnie's would be great!

And what about a dinner off site one night? Since we are extending the trip by a day, we previously talked about doing a dinner at the Gardenwalk (Cheesecake Factory prehaps?), maybe doing some bowling there? Anyone think that's a good idea?

Yikes!

My brother and I are both Geminis and it drives my family crazy. My father is a Libra but my mother is a Sagatarius (as is my daughter) so we have some craziness around here at times. And we do the Chinese astrology as well. Back off, I'm a tiger baby Grrrrr.

:thumbsup2 I agree with everything Stacie said! Except for being out of the office.

:goodvibes

Oh, and you people with your 10 to a bed scare me. :rolleyes1 ;) :rotfl:

Its 10 to a room silly, not a bed. What do you think we are?

Oh I agree, Minnie's for breakfast would be great fun!

I enjoy there.

I should be cleaning, I should be cleaning, I should be cleaning....I've heard that if you say something 3 times your wish will come true. After the morning I've had, cleaning the toilet will be a vacation! :rotfl:

My must Dos:

Aladdin (How did I miss this last time?)
Parade
Fantasmic!
Tom Sawyer Island-ooops! I mean Pirates Cove
Walk in Walts Footsteps
Club 33 (again!-who wants to go this time?)

Bridgette, my apologies to you. :flower3: I'm afraid you did walk in on a rather unfortunate situation that is in the process of being worked out. Rest assured you are welcome here, as is your mom, and this is a fun group. After all, 65 ladies over two years, and still going strong I might add, cannot be wrong! Please do not let this influence you in any way, or scare you off, lol.

I think we are ALL ready to move forward now and continue with the point of this thread which is planning a kick butt ladies only trip!!!!! :cool1: :yay: :woohoo: :dance3:

It will be. Don't worry Boo. (totally saying that in Sully's voice)

Oh I'm not worried at all and it'll take a heck of a lot more than that to scare me off! It takes a lot to even surprise me when it comes to things like that.

ps. I successfully just tried the multi quote function! HOORAY

OMG, Cove bar was so fun!! Even if I didn't finish my drink. :rolleyes1
So seriously, can I put you down for booking Ariel's again?

Oh, and you people with your 10 to a bed scare me. :rolleyes1 ;) :rotfl:

Yep, I would love to organize the Ariel's lunch. I love princesses and DIVAS!!!! :thumbsup2

Well, I'll probably be there with you. I've thought of booking a DVC room/villa but it's an awful lot of points for the whole time. Grizbuzz and I also talked about getting a Grand Villa for one night but its 134 points for that Thursday night!:scared1:

Yay for the Grand Californian, boo for too many points!

Well, if you stay at Grand Cali.....I will bring my aero bed and join you. Even if I wasn't invited. That's how I roll.

Sure thing - but didn't I just see you promise to share a bed with someone :rolleyes1 How many people you bringing in with your aerobed???

Well, the Pooh characters don't excite me, but I thought Minnie's food was good (different from Storyteller's though--not as much choice) so I'm in!

Pooh doesn't excite me either :rolleyes1

Yes, Beth. We must do MUST DO's ;)

Must Do's
Goofy's Kitchen
Segway Tour
Anywhere that serves drinks

:rotfl:

Trip Planning? :confused3

Awwww, come on, I want more DRAMA . . . popcorn::popcorn::
;)

Seriously, the trip planning is going to make me so sad, because I know I'm not going. :sad2: And I never did get to the Cove Bar, dang it!

You really should come with us Callie....we have a whole year to talk you into it. :thumbsup2

I am down for dinner offsite one night.

you might want to reserve a room for Oct. just in case--you can always cancel later if you end up with a roomie.

bowling? Oh God. I'll keep score.

I should be cleaning, I should be cleaning, I should be cleaning....I've heard that if you say something 3 times your wish will come true. After the morning I've had, cleaning the toilet will be a vacation! :rotfl:

I would love to do Club 33 for lunch since I've only been to a breakfast, but would feel guilty depriving someone who has never been of the pleasure.

Cheesecake Factory and bowling sounds fun. I've never been to a Cheesecake Factory :sad2:

Oh I'm not worried at all and it'll take a heck of a lot more than that to scare me off! It takes a lot to even surprise me when it comes to things like that.

ps. I successfully just tried the multi quote function! HOORAY

Woo hoo for multi-quotes :yay:

Oh - I would love to do the Princess Fantasy Faire picture next year (tiaras and all!). Due to an unfortunate Peter Pan incident, some of us were not able to get there on time :sad2:

Cheryl, I want you tagged with the Pooh character sentence.

Congrats Boo on multi-quoting!

Stacerita, my SIL is a tiger, and hubby is a rat...when I found out she was a tiger, I made a "batting" motion with my hands, like a cat playing with a mouse, b/c that is how she behaves with her brother. Hopefully you don't torment any rats in that way! :) I'm a rooster; when then future MIL found that out she tried to stop our relationship, b/c roosters and rats have a hard time. And we have. :scared: But it's just in communication, and that can be worked through with hard work.

Eamon is a monkey, and yes he sure is! He even has long arms! :rotfl:

So I have to get ready to get out for the day (I will be walking with my hand up in the air). My friend who had the liver transplant is now more active than I am, and that's annoying me, so I've started doing Pilates again and the three of us are going to go meet her for a walk and for Eamon to play in the park. Hubby hasn't seen her at all since her new liver took up residence (it is AMAZING how fast that organ started working...24 hours after it was in its new home and it was changing her life) so this will be exciting. And then we have chiro appts!

Have fun planning!

If no one starts a minimini-meet thread for 5/26 let me know if I should outside of this thread.

Im ethnic.....we will get everyone in the room if I had my way.

Sorry.....I can make some drama for you if you would like.

Oh right. It's only in Vegas that it's 10 to a bed. Sorry.

How did you miss Aladdin last time? Anyone know if they are taking it away like I keep hearing rumors of?
And you are going to have to think of a kick butt contest for Club 33 this time. :rotfl:

ps. I successfully just tried the multi quote function! HOORAY
I knew you could do it! :thumbsup2

Must Do's
Goofy's Kitchen
Segway Tour
Anywhere that serves drinks

:rotfl:
I've never been to Goofy's Kitchen, is it better for breakfast or dinner?

I know, I suck all the fun out of everything, don't I? ;)
And you'll get to Cove Bar this time even if we have to take you gagged and tied. That's what friends are for. :thumbsup2
