Yes, 17. My friends tell me I'm going to jail for having thoughts about him. ha ha
I know! It's so wrong. LOL :rotfl:
I am more in love with the book Jacob then the movie Jacob. I know he's trying and I'm sure the movie will be good, but I know it won't do the book character justice.

Hmmmm, now I might have to go read New Moon again.

Wow, he has buffed up! One report says he's already gained 26 pounds of muscle and is still working on it. I wonder how. I hope he's not taking stuff he shouldn't to get buff so quickly.
Also when I was reading about him, it says he's only 17 years old!! I knew he was young, but not that young. Yikes. :scared1: :rotfl2:

wow! I never would have pegged you for a cradle robber! :lmao:

Hello Ladies,

I hope everyone had a good weekend and a happy Monday :goodvibes

On Saturday my boyfriend and I went to Universal Citywalk (does that make me a disney traitor?
2popljo.gif

)I was excited about eating at my favorite restaurant: Cafe Tu Tu Tango. Unfortunately, they have gone out of business :( There 5 cheese pizza and beef empenadas were delicious. I think there is still a Cafe Tu Tu Tango at the The Block at Orange but I'm not sure. :confused3

We walked around and then decided to grab a bite at Bubba Gump's Shrimp Co. Their restaurant has really good food. I had the Shrimper's Heaven and it came with cocktail shrimp, coconut shrimp and tempura shrimp. My bf had their NY Strip Steak. Here's a pic of the Shrimper's Heaven:

They had a Nascar arcade style racing place in Citywalk. It's now been replaced by a candy store called Sugar. They have tons and tons of candy.....from M&M's to edible panties and bras. :scared1: I thought it was kinky and interesting. :lmao: What happends if you get hungry? :rolleyes1

Here's a pic of a Marilyn Monroe statue that is completely made out of jelly beans:

On Sunday my bf and I saw Monsters vs Aliens in 3-D. :3dglasses We didn't know what else to watch. It was cute, some parts were funny. :) After the movie we grabbed a late lunch/dinner at Island's. They have different types of burgers and it's a whole surf/hawaiian themed type of restaurant.

Today I tried Chick-Fil-A for the first time. They opened one about 30 minutes away from me. The food wasn't bad and I liked their criss cut fries. :)

Hope you all have a great day. :wizard:

Good Morning ladies!

Didja all catch that there's a new DISNEYLAND Community Board?

I have a feeling we might need to pack our Diva bags!

;)

I saw that and it is a good thing. Waiting for mods to start moving threads over there.

Good morning everyone

wow more food to look at and that Marilyn Monroe out of jelly beans is awesome.

Morning ladies! I wasn't able to sleep last night, so I've spent the past few hours watching anime...for whatever reason.

Rochelle- Thanks for sharing your experience and photos! :goodvibes

Have a great day everyone. :wizard:

Capri - Breezy loves Tesla and has seen them twice I think. And how sweet your bro wants to take out out. My brother is a taker, never gives, only takes. I guess he's playing the 9 years younger-wifeless-childless-broke baby brother card as long as he can.:sad2: But he sure does rave over simple things like a home cooked meal.;)
Have a great time.

Unfortunately, my brother is a taker too. He's a VERY SELFISH person. My dad calls him and his wife "destroyers". (His wife is also very selfish....and lazy.) The really sad thing is that my brother and his wife have three kids.....those poor kids.....they don't know what a normal, loving family life is like. They've both broken my parents' hearts, and it makes me feel just terrible for my mom and dad. I hate to see my elderly dad start to cry when he talks about it. Anyway, I'm suspicious about why my brother wants to take me out tonight. popcorn::

Hola
For Easter Eggs you can get little novelty toys, jewelry, barrettes and bows for little girls, and stickers. Also clues to where to find the next egg can be fun. Oriental Trading has lots of little novelties for sale. Teddy Grahams, animal crackers, Cheerios, trail mix, mini Oreos, and other noncandy snacks can be used.

Good morning everyone!

Vicki - I just have to say you look fabulous. No matter what your age is. I hear ya on the 15 pounds. Two years ago I lost 20 for our trip to Hawaii (all those bathing suit activities and pictures, you know). Well, I gained 15 back, lost 7 and am holding steady. But I still really need to drop 15. I look at the Hawaii photos and for a middle aged woman, I looked pretty good. Anyway, it is a never ending battle, that's for sure!:)

Hi lulubelle - You are very sweet!! I lost 35 pounds about 3 years ago and kept if off for a several years but I have gained the 15lbs in the past year and especially since I moved to CA. When I lived alone (or almost alone with a teenage daughter!) it was so much easier to watch what I ate because I have NO willpower when I see others eat then I want to eat and not eat good for me things!! Also DBF works about an hours commute from home so he doesn't get home until 8 or 9 pm so if I want to eat with him it's eating late which I know is not good but oh well. I can't bring myself to go on the starvation diets that I used to do so I am trying to just eat less and I started a running program and hope that will help!! Good luck on your weight loss quest...we can encourage each other!

On the topic of Twilight, I did see the movie, but I haven't read any of the books yet. My hubby on the other hand, has read all of the Twilight books (he really liked them.....he couldn't put them down), which I think it hilarious!:lmao:

I'll have to ask him who he likes better.....Edward or Jacob.:rotfl2:

Too funny! My DBF hadn't really showed any interest in reading the series but after I drug him to the movie he decided to read them. It took him from Nov. until March to finish Twilight...he is now on New Moon. I don't think he is really that into them but he refuses to give up! I think his main struggle is with Bella's emotions! ;)

Oh I almost forgot to tell you all - we are going to DL on Sat. it'll be crazy busy I know but we are taking an out of town guest but the great news is that we are staying at the GC Sat. night!! I have never stayed there and even better Mr. CA's dad is treating us since we are taking his cousin's 14 year old daughter with us! I think I will want to just hang out at the GC and skip the craziness at DL! We've stayed at the DLH but never at the GC, I can't wait!:dance3:

Oooh, that's a great idea for Easter baskets. I may just put in some cool snacks in my boys' Easter baskets this year too.:thumbsup2

It took my hubby about 4 weeks to read ALL of the Twilight books. :goodvibes He loves to read and is always looking for his next great read.

BTW - he said he likes Edward better.

Like you and Linda, I'm also trying to lose weight and get into better shape. I lost 20 pounds since last October, and I need to lose another 30 pounds to reach my ultimate goal weight. It was so funny on the ladies trip because when we were loading onto IASW, Linda said to "put the skinny one in the middle of the seat", and she was talking about me!?! That's pretty funny because for one, no one ever refers to me as the skinny one (I'm usually the fat one in the group), and two, compared to me, I thought Linda was the skinny one. ::yes::

Anyway, it was such a nice day here yesterday that I went on a walk with my friend Cathy.....my first walk of the year. (We had a TON of snow this year. It was still snowing just a week ago, but now it's finally all melted.) We only walked a couple of miles, but it just felt so good to get out in the fresh air and moving again.:thumbsup2

I have a secret fear one of my little dogs will get Little Churro and eat him!:rotfl2: so when i can't find it..i'm like.. :scared1: Where is Little Churro?!!:lmao:
