I don't get the Wrestling thing :confused3
My kids would love it if I let them watch it, but I am mean & I won't.

We don't watch wrestling at all. But I will admit that we are addicted to MMA. DBF got me hooked and I am a fan.

:woohoo:
That sounds great, but then could you do a Kennynapping & send him to me??? :rolleyes1

:rotfl2:

Okey doke. Who can I bite first :confused3:confused3 :rotfl2:

Now there is a wild woman. Grrrrrrrrr!

Morning everyone :sunny: I'm off to Legoland to celebrate my nephews' birthdays. I'll catch you all later. :flower:

Have fun. DBF and I took all the kids last summer. We had fun. But I just remember it being a lot of walking, and not a lot to do. The kids were 12, 10 and 8 though.

I only like it when Edward bites me. :lovestruc

I've gone back to school to get my Masters in Elementary Education. It'll take me about 18 months or so.

I'm totally planning on being there again for our third ladies trip! I can't wait to see you there! We really missed you on the last ladies trip.

Your son looks SO TALL now (and pretty gosh darn cute)! I was really surprised to see how much he's grown since the last pictures I saw of him.

And your baby is just the cutest! :cutie:

Good luck with school Capri

I really miss hanging out with a lot of you girls. I know the time will probably drag for me until the next trip. Hopefully there will be a few mini-meets until then.

Thanks for the compliments on the family .

I used to do things like that when my DD was much younger. In the days before she got so involved with sports and I went back to school. Now there just isn't enough time or energy. And as far as Easter goes.....I suckered her granfather into taking all four of his grandkids camping. I am also making my brother go since 3 of those kids are his.

That was my excuse before since I was working and my kids were involved in a lot of sports and activities, but since I lost my job and my son is between sports right now, I really have a lot of free time & should do more activities with them.

I felt so guilty yesterday that I went out and bought the ingredients to make a pineapple carrot cake with cream cheese frosting. We are going to make it tomorrow night.

Gosh--again we overlapped by a few days. Would have loved to see you and the kids (and the baby!).

Well that sucks :guilty:. I would have to loved to met up with you and done a few things together.

My sister drank around the world and got the Gran Marnier slush among other things. I just had a sip of all her drinks since I'm not supposed to drink hard liquor while breastfeeding and it was tasty

Tonight my dh and older kids are watching Wrestle Mania! I just don't get it!:confused3 Why is this so popular? He told me he was going to order it on Pay per View. And then I see the price when he was ordering - $54.95! :scared1: But I kept my mouth shut. I just don't see the fun in watching people throwing each other across the mat, especially when it is all staged to begin with. OK - sorry to vent! Hope I didn't offend any WM fans out there!;)

My DS used to be addicted to wrestling :headache:. He always had to watch it on T.V. and buy all the action figures. Last year I actually took him to Wrestlemania in Orlando and he had a good time, but he was turned off by the fans (mostly men) who were overly drunk and swearing a whole lot. It sort of turned him off to wrestling and he doesn't watch it anymore.

So even though it cost me a lot to take him to Wrestlemania, at least I don't have to watch it anymore or buy him wrestling toys .

Good morning!

I finally watched Twilight yesterday. I liked it. :thumbsup2 I'm looking online right now to order the last two books. I've read the first two a while ago but after watching the movie I want to finish up the series.
I can't wait for New Moon to be released in the theaters. It's supposed to be sometime in November, around the 20th.
I hope it's good and they don't try to make it too over the top, kwim?
Glad you liked the movie.

Oh, have you all seen the new Twilight merchandise in Walmart of all places!?! I bought some of it for Noelle. Keychains, necklaces, buttons, totes, books, posters, soundtrack, the movie and some t-shirts are what our Walmart is carrying.

I got Noelle one of the tees with every single character on it, including the "bad vamps", for only 10 bucks! I got some other things for her too to go along with the movie in her Easter basket.

So it's Day 1 of Spring Break around here and it's not off to a good start.

Lindsey is still sick.
Noelle is now complaining of a stomach ache.
Adam has been holed up in his room since 5 a.m. chatting on Xbox Live with some friends, and playing games.
And Hannah is bored, bored, bored.

I desperately wanted to sleep in, but instead woke up at my usual 6:20 time, decided to take a shower and start the laundry. Why? Heck if I know. :headache:

Something tells me it's going to be a long week......... :rolleyes1

I hope everyone else is having a good Monday morning! :goodvibes

Sorry the start of Spring Break isn't going well. This is the start of my Spring Break from school, and I am already up doing homework. :sad2: DD gets her break next week. She is going camping with her grandfather, uncle and 3 cousins. Then will come home on Monday, has a huge softball game on Tuesday, then she plans on sleeping the rest of her vacation, or relaxing. The sunday before she goes back to school we will be doing DL though.

If DD ever says she is bored, I always had her a broom or give her a chore. If you can lean, you can clean. There is way to much available for kids for them not to be bored. Sorry two of them aren't feeling well. Hopefully its a quick bug and they will be alright. And I can't believe Adam was up at 5!!!! Is he normally a get up early kid?

I really miss hanging out with a lot of you girls. I know the time will probably drag for me until the next trip. Hopefully there will be a few mini-meets until then.

There will be! Some of the ladies are doing the Mouseadventure in April. A few will be there in September for the 5K.
Then in October some of us are getting together the weekend of Oct. 23-25 with our families for Halloween in the parks. And some of us will be there December 4-7 for the Christmas decorations.
As the times get closer we'll have to definitely make plans to meet up. :yay:

I didn't like New Moon, it swear it had taken me forever to read it!!
I am still reading Breaking Dawn...I just don't want it to end...
Saturday night my bff watched it for the first time. She really liked it.
She kept texting me & asking me questions.
I am glad you liked it! :thumbsup2

A drink here and there isn't a problem. At least that's what my doc told me. Heck, he even told me to have a glass of wine to relax me when I was stressed about feeding. And when I was worried about there being enough, he told me have a beer.

That sure would make a nice tag.:wizard:

Good morning and good Monday.

Last night Calvin had chicken tortilla soup but there were not tortillas in the soup. It smelled good and finally with some talking he was happy with the soup. We each had steamed veggies, garlic mashed taters, 7 ounce steak, riblets and iced tea. Applebees is great for dieters as they serve you dessert in a shot glass. My hot fudge sundae was gone in 4 bites and Calvin had double garlic bread thanks to the waiter who gave Calvin my bread and some vanilla ice cream. He said I looked like I have lost weight.

He has plans for my life as far as repairs goes. I think that meal really hit the spot as he was talking about painting the rusted hood of my car, fixing the kitchen sink, and mopping the floors. I had to set priorities though as mother gets a bug in her ear and does not let go even if there are more important things. He watered front and back plants, did the dishes, and cleaned the kitchen floor. I think today will be a good day especially with shopping and a clean kitchen. He works in his own business as a window cleaner.:cloud9::hug:

Thanks. Well, it's not off to a terrible start, but I'm not laying on a beach somewhere being fanned by a hot cabana boy, and snacking on frozen grapes. :rotfl: That would be much nicer than laundry at 7 a.m. LOL

Camping sounds fun! Where do they go? We used to go all the time when the kids were younger.

I did have the kids cleaning this morning. They worked on their rooms for a bit. Even on vacation, they know to keep them clean and their beds made daily. :thumbsup2

Adam is always up that early! He is so weird. Ever since he was like 8 years old. He's the first one to sleep at night, usually around 9, and wakes up every morning between 5 and 5:30. Polar opposite of me. I hate mornings. :sad2:

When a teen boy has something that he thinks is really important to do, he will go without any sleep. My DS will be up until 2am on weekends watching the NFL channel & then wake up at 5am to play Playstaion for most of the day. I really don't know how he does it :confused3.

We don't watch wrestling at all. But I will admit that we are addicted to MMA. DBF got me hooked and I am a fan.

I like MMA (at the fairgrounds they have fights every 6 months) & UFC. (is there a difference?)

Kaeleb has a few of the action figures, my grandma bought them for him. My aunt thinks she needs to also. :sad2:

LOL See she found you. She's good at that sort of thing. When you are over there, just watch out for Vin Disney though. :rolleyes1 He's scary! :scared1:

She did find me and fast! Oh no now I'm accountable to one more thread and more people! :worship: Really the fact that I belong to several C25K threads really does make me push on and not stop even though my mind is arguing with my body to stop/go!

Oh I am not looking forward to next week! It is my DBF's kids (12 and 14)spring break and since I work from home guess who is stuck er I mean who gets the pleasure of 'babysitting'? Me! I have an only child who will be 20 next month and I really thought I was finished! Mr. CA must really be worth it, huh??:lmao: Good luck with your spring break week!!

My doctor told me that beer and wine are fine (in moderation), but to try and stay away from the hard liquors. Since the drinks my sister was ordering were mixed drinks, I knew that it wouldn't be a problem. But I think shots would have been off limits

Thanks. Lindsey has her antibiotics, so hopefully those will kick in soon. And Noelle just says it hurts but she doesn't feel like throwing up or anything, so I don't know what it could be. She's got the heating pad on there now and is just laying down watching old seasons of 90210.

Where is it that women drink wine all through their pregnancies? France?

I love that smiley. It's one of my favorites. ;)

My daughter Noelle is 12 and my son Adam is 14. For you to go back to those ages after raising a 20 year old, yes, he must really be worth it! :thumbsup2 By the way, is that you in those pics in your sig? If so, you do not look like you are old enough to have a 20 year old!

I cannot wait for New Moon!! I think everyone should come on out to Vegas in November and we'll all go see the movie together and then hit the Strip for some fun afterward. :rotfl:

I always ask DD when she has stomach probs like that if she pooped, or when the last poop was, or what it looked like. Usually that will help me figure out the problem.

Where is it that women drink wine all through their pregnancies? France?

Yes, France. But do you remember back in the day when our moms used to drink and smoke and no one thought anything about it?

Eek - Spring Break!! I am so glad it's over with for us already. There are still two short school weeks coming up though, so that should be a hoot and a half! At least there are ball hockey games on EACH DAY of the weekends

I only like it when Edward bites me. :lovestruc

Yay, Twilight :cool1:

Good morning!

I finally watched Twilight yesterday. I liked it. :thumbsup2 I'm looking online right now to order the last two books. I've read the first two a while ago but after watching the movie I want to finish up the series.

I love Twilight and have all the books. My DH tried to move my books (hello??? I don't touch your stuff!). Saw the movie, bought the CD, can't wait for the next one!!

We don't watch wrestling at all. But I will admit that we are addicted to MMA. DBF got me hooked and I am a fan.

Now there is a wild woman. Grrrrrrrrr!

I know, right??

DS does not watch wrestling at home (I'm not a fan), but he has his once a year Wrestlemania party with his friends. Not at my house, so I'm good with that. What is MMA? Probably something my son would like but not me, right??

He is fighting on the 18th??? I didn't know that.

I want to watch it again, also.

Happy Monday All!
Beth, I hope your spring break gets more fun for you and the kiddos. :thumbsup2
Katie, your baby is so cute - I just want to pinch her little cheek, and then give her a big kiss! (That's what happens when you have no babies in your life for over 20 years:sad2:, you obsess over other peoples children).
I hope we see you before the next Girls Trip in Feb.
