Hmmm, that's what I would need. A lazy dog to just chill with me all day.

Get a Tibetian Terrier.....they take on the characteritics of their owners. So mine likes to nap, watch tv and sleep in. Great dog! My other dog is a Maltese. She loves to nap as well, but also likes to play a lot. Both were rescues.

Hi everybody! I am home from WDW--yesterday was a long day! I finally got home at 10:45 p.m. California time--which felt like 1:45 a.m. Florida time!

Welcome Home Cheryl! I didn't know you were going to WDW (maybe if I checked in more often ). I was just there from 3/14-3/29. When did you arrive??

Our flight on the way home was delayed 3 hours because of weather and we didn't land in California until midnight (3am Florida time) and then they lost my stoller so I was sooo tired trying to lug the baby and luggage.

... And I can never get enough of TTA.

You are a girl after my own heart. I love the TTA. I especially love when there is no line and they let you go around and around again. I really hope they bring this back to DLand someday.

Its so relaxing. I love being above TL and just taking it all in. When it was open at DL, I loved going through the Tron section.

Chatty chatty chatty.

Stacie: OMG!!!! HOw scary!! I am impressed you had the presence of mind to call 911, but all those transfers..how ridiculous is that? You guys could have been gutted and bleeding, and you wouldn't have gotten throught the red tape. I am sure you were relieved to get back into your house.

Oh, and I hope you are feeling better. My dogs don't nap with me, only 1 of the three is small enough to get on the bed, although the 140lber WANTS to!!
But when I was in bed for the migraine days, I was totally covered in cats.

Kelly: totally sucks, maliciousness and senseless. Ugh. I got a nail in one of my tires yesterday which was annoying enough, but totally an accident.

Lunch girls: Amy, Beth Michelle and Heather!!! What fun to meet up again!!!

Cheryl: Welcome back!! next, MouseAdventure!!!

New people: Welcome!!! I've gone on the first two, siigned up with 3 roomies sight unseen and it was fine the first year, so we roomed again, plus one this year. If you can deal with the idea of lots in a room, it is SO much cheaper, and I think, more fun!! How often do we get to feel like college dorm residents???

MaryJo and Laurie, glad you had a nice dinner. I didn't quite get who allthe other people mentioned were. Am I confused?

Steph: I forgot to mention hurrah on your date night. My DH and I don't go, kind of ever, since I am so frugal, I have trouble having fun knowing I have to pay the babysitter 40-50 dollars when I get home. Hope you have fun and it works out and you can trade off with your friends on a regular basis.

Hello Katie!! Your baby is far too perfect!! Glad to see you around the boards again!!

Anyone else I missed? Oh, Sara....I bet your heart is still pounding about the stragle epeisode, followed by the choking!!!

Okay, I am being ever so obtuse right now. TTA? ... what is the TTA? When did it close?

Okay, Stace, another huh? from me. TL, TRon (my DH made me watch that movie a couple years ago..didn't see the point).

This is an entire aspect of DL that I am not "in the know". Oh, my team is SO screwed when it comes to Mouse Adventure!!!!

Hi everyone! Welcome to the new ladies, you all will have a wonderful time.

 Kate. You kids have gotten so big. I'm sorry to hear about your job. So how was your trip to DW? I remember you planning that last year on the first girls only trip...where does time go???

I'm still ill and not really enjoy it (not sure if anyone would...but you never know)... We did have a great time (4.5 hours to be exact :rotfl:) last night without the kids. The weird thing is we didn't do anything really extraordinary or special. We did some errands, Easter shopping, and we went to Panera Bread for dinner. It was so nice to walk through stores and the mall without having to say "Don't touch that" and/or "Get back here"...:rotfl2:

Oh I thought I read that someone's mall was shortening their hours. Anyway while at our local mall last night they had posted their new hours (they've shortened their hours). Also the Gottschalks here is closing their doors, not sure when but right now they have just about everything on sale for 20% off.

I'm hoping to be feeling better by tomorrow....I am flying out to Florida on Monday...if only it were to WDW. :sad1: I'm going to Panama City for work. I'll have my laptop with me, so you'll probably see my online while I'm out there.

Hope you all are having a nice weekend.

Crap.....you're on my team!

And yeah, I did realize that I could have been dead by the time all the transfers went through. That's why I made sure they got his details so at least he would pay for it. Not ideal, but what you gonna do.

Panama City, that sounds like it could be fun. At least a change of scenery. Try to enjoy yourself.

 for Stacie, Kelly, and Sara.

I forgot the babysitting trade off went great. The kids were well behaved and Rhys only ended up in time out twice, which is awesome considering his diagnosis. We're going to watch their kids later this month and are going to continue this as long as we can. :cool1:

Thanks!

That's great that you can do a trade off like that. I think that works better than paying a babysitter.

:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: Amy I really miss your sense of humor!! TTA is Tomorrowland Transit Authority at WDW. It used to be the Peoplemover at DLand.

Hey Steph~ Ah yes when I was waking up early everyday to make my phone calls for AKV Concierge level. Yes time flys and the kids get bigger. I bet your kids have grown a lot too :flower3:.

DW was fun, we had a couple issues during the trip, but overall it was great.

I hope you feel better soon, it's no fun to travel when your sick :headache:.

Good Night ladies~ It's time to put the baby to sleep so have a good night .

First of all Stacie I am so sorry that happened to you. That is SO scary!! I have had a few road rage incidents but nothing quite THAT scary. It seems this weekend is the weekend for nut jobs!

Yesterday I was SO happy when I picked the girls up from school because it was open house and the girls had book fair so Katy had a contest at school where she had to guess how much popcorn was in a jar and she WON out of k-3rd grades which is a lot because there is like 4 of each grade. I was SO happy for her. Plus Shelby had a big party in her class and they were SO excited and telling me all about what they had gotten and everything. So the point was we took a little bit longer to go to the car and THAT must have been when it happened. I park along this side street of the school and mine was the last car left by the time I walked over to it and when I got home the girls noticed that someone had scratched 3 times in great big letters the word DIE all over my car. I was majorly PO'd. My car is only 2 years old and it is paid for and we are hoping to sell it and use whatever money we got out of it for a decent down payment to buy a better vehicle. When we bought it it was what we thought we wanted but it is just too small for us and so we need something just a little bigger and I HAD kept it in really good shape and now THIS! I was livid. I called the school and the principal said it will probably keep happening cuz the jr high kids are bad about stuff like that. Plus Shane said based on what they wrote it may be friends of lynn's. I am just SO upset right now and it is kind of ruining my trip because I am so mad and I don't know what to do when I come back. Now I am afraid to leave my car to get the girls that MORE damage will be done to it!

Anyway also Sara I wanted to say I am so sorry about what happend to your son.

Anyway we have a bunch of stuff we need to get done today and then we are leaving bright and early tomorrow so hopefully we can have a good trip. Probably won't post after this afternoon.

You guys have a great week and I will see you when I get back!
Oh no, Kelly! That just stinks about your car!
Enjoy your trip, though. You totally deserve it!

Hi everybody! I am home from WDW--yesterday was a long day! I finally got home at 10:45 p.m. California time--which felt like 1:45 a.m. Florida time!

All in all it was a great trip--I totally fell in love with Saratoga Springs resort having somewhat experienced some of the other resorts this time. Of course, I still want to try the others, but I love the openness and tranquility of SSR. I still have not seen Animal Kingdom Lodge (cancelled my Jiko dinner).

I'm hoping to start downloading my photos later and have a small trip report started later too.

In the meantime--hi to all the "old" Divas and "hi and welcome" to all the new Divas.

Stacie: scary scary scary!! :scared1: Stories like that (where you got shuttled around) are really frightening. What a creep that guy was!

I definitely made sure to see Country Bear Jamboree at WDW--I totally miss it at DL. Sorry to any Pooh lovers, but I think that ride is just so lame too. The one negative I will say is that it was FREEZING in there! In fact, it rained earlier and I got a little wet--I started to go in and I knew I was going to be miserable, so waited till I dried out and then enjoyed it much more.

Oh, and the Tiki Room at WDW is awful!! what a disappointment and waste of space. I didn't see it last time, so wanted to this time and I wish I hadn't bothered. Never again--unless they change it.

And I didn't make Carousel of Progress this time either--but wish they would bring that back to DL. I did ride the Tomorrowland Transit Authority (aka PeopleMover) TWICE and loved it! I made sure to ride it because it's supposed to be down for a while because they are re-doing WDW's Space Mountain.

Ok, later gators!
Welcome home, Cheryl! We missed you!!!!! I totally agree with you about the Tiki Room at WDW. It was a huge waste of our time. But we loved the TTA when we were there. We went on it several times.

And dont' let the bed bugs bite. Trust me on that one ;)

You're too funny!:lmao::rotfl::rotfl2:

That really stinks about your car. Is there anyway you can buff it out or something. Ive always seen those lame informericals where scratches can be taken care of from a bottle of some goop. Worth a shot you know.

Thanks Kelly...sorry about your car! What a bummer! I would be livid! So after my son's close call, we were at McD's yesterday with my mom and my DD almost choked to death on a piece of apple. My mom gave her a piece without asking me. I would have said no because she is too little for foods like that. I am so on edge. And on top of that the airline that I am booked on to Reno to see my friend in May has decided to stop doing that route...the DAY I WAS FLYING! I can reschedule for earlier or be refunded. We shall see.

Sarah

Very scary about your son and daughter. Glad they are both alright. Still very scary though.

Hopefully everything will work out for your flight.

How's Heather doing? Haven't seen her on the boards since the trip.

Hello!

So my dad and Tyrae were working upstairs, using the air compressor, and my dog is now terrified. It let out air later on today when I was home and she practically jumped in my arms, shaking out of fear :sad2: My dad told me shortly after using (I was at a party), they went to look for Osita and they thought she somehow got outside. She was hiding under the sofa pretty much traumatized. So now she is sticking super close to mommy (moi:lovestruc) or my mom.

It was so sad, my little sister (9 years old) forgot her bunny at my aunt's house. She has had this stuffed bunny since birth and she was seriously crying for about 10 minutes (even though we live 15 minutes from my aunt) So Osita and I decided to go upstairs to comfort her. I placed Osita on Anais' bed and it's crazy, she knew exactly what to do. So she just layed, curled up next to Anais, and just stayed there. My puppy is so smart paw: This is why I'm really hoping to take her to NLOL (new leash on life) and take classes so she can be a certified therapy/assistance dog. I would to take her to elderly homes and children's hospitals. She definitely has the temperment. When my mom was home from surgery, and she would be in a lot of pain, Osita would look at her and whine kinda like "What's wrong?!" and then go lay by her.
