Girls Only Disneyland Trip ~ Old thread, link to new one in first post

Capri - there is a product called Auralgan, which is a topical anesthetic meant for earaches. It is FABULOUS! My son gets terrible ear infections frequently, so I always keep some on hand. It is a bottle with a dropper - you warm up the liquid in the bottle (put it in a glass of warm water for a couple of minutes), then put a couple of drops in the sore ear. Works like a hot darn It is an OTC med, so no prescription is needed.

I was going to suggest this. Here in the US it's a prescription though, and with our insurance, we still had to pay almost $80 for the bottle! It is fabulous though, and the bottle will last us years at this rate. When my son had a double ear infection last October, he went from screaning 3 hours straight to smiling and playing just with this stuff. I'd ask about it Capri.

No big plans for us this weekend. I wish we were going to Disneyland!!!! We just have some lunch deliveries to our CPA's office Saturday, and we're catering a small party Sunday. The good news is that it is supposed to be in the high 70s starting today, so maybe we can get out and enjoy some sunshine

My son would love a skateboard cake (although lately he's more into American Eagle than Ed Hardy, DC, etc.).

See, we get the good meds - you get the good wine and cupcakes........ I'll trade you a bottle of Auralgan for a bottle of Magicale or Rosa Regale

What is there to do? Order some pizza and throw in a movie for the family, use paper plates so there are no dishes, ignore the laundry, tell the kids they can practice writing their multiplication facts in the dust around the house, and your set.

This made me LOL while holding in a mouthful of coffee!!!

Hi all. I am at work and the poem went GREAT! Shelby did awesome and I have yet to see how the pics turned out. Mom handled the camera while I did the video. She was SO cute. They had a drawing for half the kids that recited poems all week and Katy's grade was done while we were there and of course she was not picked. I sure hope SHelby didn't get picked for that too cuz Katy will go nuts LOL. Katy was ALREADY upset that her sister got picked and not her but I had to remind her that Katy ALREADY got to do it when she was in Kindergarten.

So anyway it was fun to watch them and grandpa and grandma got to watch as well.

Still don't know where we are going to dinner tonight but hopefully someplace fun. No Ghost Whisperer tonight so hopefully we can just relax and have a fun evening and forget all the crapola!

The weather is nice and I just want to enjoy the girls and the weekend!!!

I have heard of those drops and think we have had those before and you guys are right they ARE the bomb! For those going fun places this weekend have fun! Wendy sorry you are sick. I hope you feel better for your SF trip!!

I won't be in Disney THIS weekend but I will be NEXT Sunday! Nanny Nanny Boo Boo!

I think I will ask about this when I take him to the doctor later. I'll try anything to help him with his pain......I don't think he's ever had an ear infection before.

It sure is painful for him though, poor guy. He's still tearing up on and off this morning. We couldn't get him an appointment until 4:15 this afternoon.....GRRRRRRR!

And I'm still having tummy/cramping problems (with body chills from time to time), except I'm not running to the bathroom anymore because I don't think I have anything left to, ummmm, go.

Also, I just spoke with Joanne at the HOJO. She will be crediting back the difference TODAY for everyone who faxed her their ent. card information. She said she was waiting until today to do them all at once - she has been getting faxes all week apparently.

Debra - you should get a credit on your card. She was going to split the refund between our cards!

Have a great Friday! I am excited because on Monday my 5 yr old goes back to school after a long, long, long, 2 weeks break!

Those quizes are funny, I took one that told me how I was going to die. It said that I'm going to die at the age of 65 from a severe sunburn while trying to win the national nude sunbathing contest! Ha! As if!

That was better than my friend who was going to die at 72 from a freak accident with a banana...I always knew she was a freakedy freak.
