When it's time to renew, they will mail you papers and tell you the rate. Usually, it's $20 off the current price of an AP, but you have to renew by a certain date to get that price.

I'm not feeling so good this morning. I can't wait to be back to my normal self again.

Stacie, I forgot to tell you yesterday, that I found out that you wouldn't make money off of me on chacha anyway. The role open was for expeditor, and you don't get anything for those on your team. I'm hoping they open up transcribing also because I can do both of those at once. This is all given that I passed the test.....(insert nail biting smiley here)

So the type A+ planner in me wants to know what the evening /night weather is like at DLR in October. I want to know what kind of costume would be most appropriate (fur, bikini, normal?). Thanks!

so what to do what to do?

Can i just renew and get the renewal discount?
Like if i do it say 2 weeks before the expiration?
If so can i do it online?
Or over the phone?
Or must it be done in person?

Heather, I think it's the room that was right in front of us when we got off the elevator and faced away from the window (it's on the 4th floor, right?) so it's not really the highway side of the building, if you ask me. You did ask me, didn't you?



I would love to have a DVC, and I have money sitting in an account I could use, but not sure I could talk DH into it. He's all about cheap! And I think the hardest thing would be the 50-year deed. We own another timeshare and it's a lifetime deed that can be willed/transferred to someone else when we die, so it's basically a forever deed. Having one that is only 50 years would be against everything he stands for (remember, he's CHEAP!!!)

See, there's another school of thought. The 50-year contract means that after 50 years you are no longer saddling your heirs with the annual maintenance fees . . . . some people actually prefer that.

CheryL... when is your birthday? How fun that You are getting to go on a grand adventure. Disney World is so Big!

I have a question about annual passes.... does your annual pass at Disneyland work at Disneyworld?

My birthday is April 1--yep, April Fools Day! Funny, huh? I'm not sure what my first thing will be--not even sure which park I'm going to first! I'm actually thinking R and R! Maybe a mani/pedi at the SSR spa.

Cheryl, do you have your PSs ressies for WDW - I think they call them something else? They are essential there, much more so than at DL. My fav - Coral Reef - get the earliest lunch on eyou can get - I think 11:30, and show up at 11:14. Insist on being right by the tank. If they try to give you something else, ask for one that you want. (we had to do this even though the place just opened - and they were great to us). We stayed at Beach Club - def go take a look at it. Right next to Epcot. Def get the button! You'll meet others w/ your b-day.

Yes, I made them quite a while ago. I didn't include Coral Reef on this trip. Plus I've heard of horror stories where you're seated at the tank and are overrun with kids! I like kids . . . but I don't want to be paying a fortune for lunch and have to babysit!

Yes, the Disney cruise isn't until December though--it was "free" for buying the Disneyland DVC.

Hi all! Well last night WAS fun! We went to mom's and had our corned beef and it was so YUM! Love that dish although it is practically all salt but SOOO good! Then I brought over a mixed berry pie and it was a nice evening. We made it home in time for the idol and everyone was REALLY good although I didn't like that Megan girl so I hope she goes tonight. But anyway then this morning I get a call from Shane, apparently Lynn has run off AGAIN.

We had corned beef last night too--ours was yummy too! I am so sorry your family is going through this again. Teenagers can be very selfish and not understand the pressure they put on the entire family. How are your little ones doing with this?

My Mom is adjusting ok. A little emotional at times. I am excited about the trip--I'm usually a nervous flyer too--but this time I'm actually looking forward to going on my own!

I know what you mean, I also want to know the park hours & dates of MTOTP. We will be there for 7 days or so, but the kids will also need to do there homework. Oh and they want to go to Seaworld again.

The best meals I've ever had there were at Victoria and Albert's, The California Grill (book around firework time and watch the fireworks from you table! They even pipe in the music.), and Le Cellier in Canada at EPCOT. WDW has the edge on DLR as far as table service places go, but I think DLR's counter service was world's better than WDW. Ride Test Track for me, and if you see Devine in AK, tell her I said hi. She is the coolest/creepiest thing I've ever seen!

Even though Megan was sick, I still am not feeling her. Her dancing is so odd, and her quirkyness is getting to me. I just don't think she has what it takes.

Danny is going for the win. If not, he will be signed and we will be hearing great things from him.

I love Adam and the version he did last night was great. He is odd, and I don't think middle America will get him.

Anoop is also really good, and different. Look for him to do well.

Thanks so much to ALL who responded. I am kind of afraid to leave the house, like she is lurking waiting for me leave LOL. But Cheryl I am SO jealous! Happy Birthday early!! And YES wear the button! Be proud. My birthday is in June so we can never go cuz the kids aren't quite out of school yet but I say BE Proud!! Wear it and enjoy all the perks! I would LOVE to be going back esp with the nice weather you will most likely have. I froze my potootie off in Nov!!

The good thing is we are at least going to DL in April as well! Prob right after you 5th through the 10th. But anyway enjoy!!! And yes the little ones are upset. They really look up to their sister but that is part of the problem. I hate that their "role" model is a drug and alcohol addict. NOT the best role model and esp with her running off and her bad grades. NOT setting the best example. Plus she has told them not to listen to us etc.

In a way I am glad she is getting away from them before they get any older. NOT saying they won't rebel on their own but she is def a bad influence.

THIS time Shane said he is not going looking for her like he did before.

Apparenlty she left in just her pj's. Last time she actually ran away and had her phone a paycheck (which she bought drugs and booze with) her backpack full of clothes etc. This time she just snuck out and was out drinking or what have you which we found out she has been probably doing several nights based on the note we found.

No WONDER she is flunking out of school!

She also has a major bladder infection PROB cuz she is having sex. I just hope it is protected!!!

DON'T need THAT mess!

UGH! I don't even want to keep talking about it, it is giving me heartburn!

Anyway I must run. I have to get my errands done and have my doc apt today. I knew YOU guys would understand. You guys are all so great. It's not like I want to give up on her but for the best of the other children I have at home and for MY and others sanity we just need peace in our home and EVERYONE has given her chance after chance after chance. We have taken her to drug and alcohol counseling, regular counseling. I just don't know what else to do anymore!
