Lol....I always try to talk myself into things before I talk to Paul. And yes. I wanted to buy immediately, but waited and waited and did nothing. It was funny because I was looking at the calendar in my office thinking that it was March 25th and that was the last day of the incentives and right at that moment, my phone rang and it was the DVC guy. Talk about timing.

I've left a message for the California DVC guide whose card we got at the DVC tour, but he hasn't called me back. I did get my guide (who is a teleguide, located in Florida I think) to leave a message on my voice mail, but no one is working too hard to get back to me to make this sale. I'm so hoping that I'm able to get my DH to agree to add on at VGC! He's at least entertaining discussion on it, which he hasn't been willing to do for the last month, so there's a chance...

Anyways, there are supposed to be new incentives released soon, so I am waiting to see what they are before I decide. We wouldn't need a ton of points, as we usually only go to WDW every 2-3 years now that we live out here, so we could bank and borrow points to make enough for that frequency of trips.

So far looks like the incentives are cruises or discounted points. I would like developer points or a few nights at GCH! Too bad I wasn't able to go down to Anaheim for that event last weekend. Oh well. I'm hoping something works out this week! Did you make it for that event and get those incentives?

I love my DVC. I bought AKL when DD was a CM and got a good discount. Added on Grand Ca Villas last month. I know we will enjoy it for years to come. I must say though that it is not an investment to make $$, but rather an investment to enhance your vacation experiences for many years. And even if you cannot enjoy the villa one year, certainly you have family members who can. Trust me, you really do get spoiled by villa life and timeshares today are not like they were 20 years ago. Anyone who knows they can afford it should do it. If it will cause a financial strain on you, don't. Congrats to those who have purchased, too.

Why haven't we heard from Cheryl? She couldn't possibly having so much fun she isn't thinking about us, could she? Naw, that surely cannot be the case. Off to read Stacie's latest installment and then hit the sack. It was tough switching between Idol, Biggest Loser and DWTS tonight. Kelly, chin up girl, I know you are staying strong, but it is SO HARD!

The one that worked with me is Jim. Is that who you've been calling? I know they probably got a lot of contracts in at the last minute, but he usually called back pretty quickly. I left a message tonight to see what my options were...we'll see how quickly he calls. I do have his cell if you need that.

I didn't go to the event. I got the incentives he had told us about at the tour. 2 premium AP's for WDW (picked WDW because we are going in January and this made more sense money wise), $1100 Disney gift card, 220 developer points. Still waiting on my paperwork, but the deposit went through and I got the email confirmation with the info to log into my DVC account.

I left a message to see if they could add the BLT points into my paperwork since it hasn't been processed and apply the incentives under what I got (which would be a larger gift card and more developer points) or if I would get the new incentives. We'll see...

Also wondering if better incentives will come along if I wait to add the BL points??

Happy April Fool's Day

Congratulations to those who were whomped by the Tag Fairy.

I will be in my corner alone. I am not a happy camper at all. I signed the pertion that was posted in Disneyland forums. The I get an email saying someone challenged me to an IQ test challenge. It turned out to be a 6 step scam sight and I should not have fallen for that. The petition site had a ton of warning bells on it. I now am on some scheming profiteer's mailing list now and there goes my email address, name and phone number to the world. I should have used fake info like usual but NO I had to put real info because I am a lousy sweeper. I am the one who warns people about sites. I am such an idiot.

Give me some Lifebouy soap as I am cussing mad that well I do not need another infraction for telling the truth. I am such a dunderhead. I am the teacher who did not listen to myself. I am such a numbskull.

If you come near me today do be warned that I might bite as I am pretty ticked off at myself for falling for that scam site.

Morning all.

First off welcome Lisa and you will fit right in here and I hope you are able to make it next year. You will LOVE it!!

2nd before I forget CONGRATS mel!! That is awesome!! Grandma again. I KNOW you are a GREAT grandma. I know I would LOVE to have you as my grandma if I was a little kid!!

Kerry I know I am late but Happy Birthday again!

And where IS that Cheryl???? She MUST be having a good ole time! I am SO jealous! And here I was SO hoping to get some good weather next week and now they are predicting stupid rain for almost the whole week!

Oh well. I am still packing t-shirts and capris for the girls and hoping for miracles. BUT I am packing umbrellas and warm jackets too!

Anyway today is my neurologist apt so I am VERY anxious to see what he has to say. I am REALLY hoping to maybe get off of some of the meds I am taking or switch some around and maybe see if he can get them under control so I can get some relief for my migraines. I also have never been tested to see if allergies are one of my triggers so I want to talk to him about that as well.

His office is downtown and mom is going with me so we hope to have a nice lunch downtown first cuz there are lots of nice restaurants down there. Anyway then tonight is the girl's open house which is always fun cuz we get to see all their papers and projects as well as they are doing a performance so it should be fun.

Then the DAY we get back practically is Easter and that monday we start swim team.

It actually is all of spring break week which I really hated for them to miss but can't be helped. So my life is going to get CRAZY from here on out. They have practice EVERY night M-F from now till the end of July and then starting in May meets just about every Saturday. So things are going to get nuts now. Then we have to sign up for Soccer April 18th but luckily THAT doesn't start till August 1. WHEW! My "break" from sports is over! NOW it starts LOL. Luckily Girl Scouts has been pretty non-existant this year. I felt really bad but with everything going on with Lynn we really didn't do much and then my leader was sick. I can't even remember when I went to a meeting this entire year and they hadn't EVER missed a meeting OR an event up till this year but it has just been a BAD year between my health and all the crap with Lynn but NEXT year will be better for sure!

Anyway hope everyone has a GREAT day and I am looking forward to my apt and to the girls event to night and of course LOST! Last week was AMAZING!!!
