So our troop crop between my troop and WDWMoms has been mentioned a couple of times and I thought some of you might be interested in how it went. And then again you might not!
After getting stuck in construction on the way WDWMom's troop arrived at my house about 4 pm. My main floor is set up in that sort of circular traffic pattern that has the living/dining area going off to one side of the entrance, the kitchen straight ahead and then you can also enter the kitchen area from the diningroom.
We set the girls up at 3 tables in the living/dining area and the 4 adults worked at the kitchen table. There was great noise and chatter and typical a lot of side by side work. We ordered in pizza at supper time. Completed pages ranged from 1 to about 8 I think was the top number. One of Sue's girls worked like a nonstop maniac.
Around 8 pm the girls moved into a sort of icebreaker game as their attention span was beginning to taper off so they were able to get to know each other a little more.
We did the whole clean up routine about 8:30 and then shared pages completed.
All in all everyone seemed to have a good time and we may even look at repeating the event if we can manage to coordinate schedules!
