I went to school for elementary education. Then my kiddo started kindergarten and I saw how bad parenting has become and how so much is put on the teacher's shoulders. I had a friend who's daughter couldn't sing the alphabet or recognize a single letter, didn't count at all and so many other things when she began kindergarten. I now go to school for nursing. Not sure which is better, but good luck!

Why, I certainly hope you called child services on that awful parent! How dare they not teach their very own child how to even funcition in society! *My* children (if I ever have any, but that's a whole nother thread) will know how to count to 146.5 billion within their first month on this earth! If only people could raise children like I know I will, well we would all be better off!!

I thought children's sole purpose for being on this planet was to become secondary parents so I can pop a new one out every year to get myself a tv show, Duggar style? Also, I really don't like to cook, clean or do "fix-it" jobs so that kids will be a vital part of that. The less they talk, the better.

I thought children's sole purpose for being on this planet was to become secondary parents so I can pop a new one out every year to get myself a tv show, Duggar style? Also, I really don't like to cook, clean or do "fix-it" jobs so that kids will be a vital part of that. The less they talk, the better.

I could never get those candles to burn evenly. It would burn down but leave a ton open on the sides. I have the best luck with Slatkin and Co candles burning evenly- you can buy them cheap usually at BBW.

I take some aluminum foil and make a top with a vent hole in the middle. I read somewhere about it, and it actually works.

I will make 2 1 inch slits and fold back the triangles to make the opening. I hope you understand this.

Why not try a candle burner? They're fantastic and burn evenly without the soot residue from burning a candle.
