It is only suppose to be in the 20's here today and I have signed up with my dd to stand out in front of Walmart and sell Girl Scout cookies. It will be a long 2 hours! Anyone else working at cookie sales this weekend?

Not a booth sale here yet - but door to door - and we are currently 15 out with a wind chill of like 7

Good Luck in the cold! Maybe everyone will take pity on you and buy some extra!

I still have cookies in my basement from last year that I over-bought planning to sell later (hahahaha). Now I have 3 girls in GS, but luckily they have lowered the minimum to 25 for a patch.

Did anyone watch Life with Bonnie this week? The very beginning of the show shows them with piles of cookies around the room and a handful to deliver to the neighbors. Yep, that's me.

Last year, we were scheduled in front of the local supermarket on the day before a HUGE snowstorm was predicted for our area. They expected us to get more than a foot of snow overnight. So every single person in the entire town was in the grocery store buying milk, bread etc. The troop sold over 1,000 boxes of cookies that day!!!! So ..... maybe disneygals is right and that cold weather will be helpful!
P.S. We saw one troop that took one of those large coffee urns and boiled hot water and then made hot chocolate for people with the instant chocolate powder. Their sales went through the roof!

We sold yesterday. My DD was able to sell 150 boxes but I think the fact that she sold them in her Grandma's Apartment complex helped :)

Good Luck everyone!

We were scheduled today for Wal-Mart but we changed it to Stop and Shop after we heard how cold it was going to be. We were at S&S yesterday too. We did not sell as much as we did at Wal-Mart last year. Good luck and try to go into the store every 15 minutes or so to warm up.

DD didn't do too bad door to door - 50 boxes sold think lots of people were staying home due to the cold weather - either that or they just felt sorry for her being out

Hey MA area cookie sellers,

What baker are your cookies baked by? Little Brownie or ABC? I'm looking for some Little Brownie cookies.
