My future wife and I will be staying in the Grand Floridian for the second part of our honeymoon next July - the first part is a relaxing week in St. Lucia before we 'come home' for a couple of weeks (and then go 'on holiday' to the UK for another year or so!)
We've both 'done' WDW a number of times, but this time around I'm looking to come up with a few surprises for my beautiful bride-to-be to make this trip an extra special one. I've stayed at the Animal Kingdom Lodge and heard about feeding giraffes by the compound early in the morning - is this still available? I'm sure Vicky (my fiancee, natch) would love this.
We've also seen some lucky blighters involved in parades at parks like MK - normally waving from a car at the back of the show. Is it possible to arrange it so that I could surprise her with being able to do this?
We're getting the GF booked with DVC points - a Lagoon View room, probably. Does anybody know the best rooms to try and obtain regarding views and the like? Or do I need to go to another board? I'll be taking Vicky to the Victoria and Albert, naturally, but can anyone suggest any other romantic places to eat around WDW - or even outside of the World?
And if anyone has any other useful tips/tricks/ideas to make this one of the best returns home we've ever, ever had, I would be eternally grateful. We'll be getting hold of bride and groom ears ASAP, but I've also heard about badges or some such which also indicate we're "on the 'moon", as it were.
