Giordano's now on Restaurant.com! Code STEAK gives you 70% off.
Note: the 3 locations are listed separately, so you need to make sure you select the specific one you want.

I've never eaten here. How is it? TIA

we always stop there and get a pizza one night when we go to Disney.

On this certificate though, you have to spend $35 and says it for FOOD only...which probably means no drinks included. That is way more than we would spend getting a pizza which is why we didnt get a certificate for there when we went early this summer.

Does anyone know if these could be used for delivery to a WDW resort? Thanks :thumbsup2

That is a good deal. It got pretty pricey for us to eat there. I think pizza's were over $20, if not $30! Although, since it is chicago style pizza one piece is pretty much a meal for most people. The pizza is pretty good, not the best I've had, but with a discount like that it would be well worth it.

Which location is closest to Disney? We are staying at POP, this would make a great meal!

The one on Route 192 (Irlo Bronson) is just south of Animal Kingdom Lodge, so this most likely the closest to POP. The one on Apoka Vineland is out the Downtown Disney exit past the Crossroads shopping center (I guess about a mile to left?) You could that location if you were planning on DTD shopping or if you were hitting the Premium Outlets, etc....

Here is their pizza menu....

- they do actually have a $30 pizza, but the norm is more around $20 for a thin (what we get) and a few $$'s more for suffed (chicago style).

I was wondering the same thing... on the night we arrive one their pizzas would totally hit the spot (we got some pizza from here when we stayed offsite one time and LOVED it! Totally over estimated how filling a piece is though... we got 2 pizzas for 6 of us and we ate it all week! Breakfast, Dinner, Snack... But it was sure good!)

After looking at the "fine print" on the certificate, I don't think that delivery would work. It says: "Valid for dine in only unless otherwise stated." And I didn't see it stated anywhere else that it would work for delivery. Darn.

Don't forget too, that House of Blues at Downtown Disney is also on restaurant.com - and I think the food is much better than Girodanos. Of course thats only my opinion! :) But same rules apply at HOB spend $35 and get $25 off. Great deal, great food, we love it.

Plan on trying both of them in two weeks!
I'll ask at the one in LBV about dine-in vs take out.

Also bought Garden Grove and a Mexican restaurant (can't remember the name, I think also on Apoka-Vineland). Between me and my parents, we will eventually use them up over the next year.

I have never purchased at restaurant.com and have a question. Below the certificates it states:

Minimum purchase of $35. 18% Gratuity added prior to discount. Valid for Food ONLY. One certificate per table. Valid for this location only.

If I buy the $50 certificate, does that mean I have to spend $85, get $50 off and be charged $35. Or, can I spend $50 and get the full $50 off the price of the meal with the certificate because it is over $35?

Thanks!

Min $35 purchase is only for $25 certificaes. When you click on $50 gift certificate the terms change on the screen, it says Minimum $100 spend.

For the $25 Certificate, you have to buy at least $35 worth of food, then they take your $25 off, so your final bill is $10 (plus 18% tip on the $35).

The fine print on the $50 Certificate states you have to buy at least $100 worth of food. So you spend $100, they take off $50. (plus 18% tip on the $100) Also, I did notice on the $100 certificate it doesn't say "Food Only" like the $10 and $25 Certificates do. Makes me think you're able to get alcohol with $100 one.

I've used the ones at HoB here at DTD in Anaheim and basically, the best you can do (i.e. cheapest) on a $25 cert. on $35 min. pruchase breakdowns this way..

Order $35 of food (HoB counts beverages as well) I actually got my HoB one to $35.70 once by adding an extra topping to a pizza.:thumbsup2 It brought me to just over $35. :goodvibes (most of HoB prices end with .95 so be aware of your exact total if you are trying to order as close to $35 as you can.)That left me with just over $10 on the tab. 18% tip was about $6.30 and tax (does not count in min. purchase requirement) was about $3.15. My total for our $35 (about $45 w/tip and tax) meal came to a grand total of $20 plus $2 for certificate. So for $22 we got a $45 meal. :)That is really the best you can do. That's a savings of about 50%. Great Deal!

Every restaurant has their own requirements. Make sure you read them before you buy. Most charge a tip and 18% seems to be standard. Not too bad but we were at a local (dive) fish restaurant on a recent trip to the S.F. area and it certainly didn't warrant a 18%. At best, it was 10-15%. Service was so so and the restaurant was funky.

FYI-Giordano's also has a $20 for $4 (before discount, so you can get for one for .80 or $1.20 most times) If you don't think you'll spend $35 on food only, get the $20 one. :)

is "dine in" only for dinners or also lunches? some say "lunch, dine in", some say "dinner, dine in". Some just say "dine in". does that mean lunch too?
