can anyone tell me if and when the gingerbread houses will be on display this year? Going 11/27-11/30 and would like to see at least some. I did a quick search here and couldn't find answer. Thanks!

In the past when we would visit Thanksgiving Week they were up. Have no clue if they will be up with COVID.

Yes, they will be up this year!! The GF gingerbread house can be up as early as the second week of November, but at latest, the week of Thanksgiving. Enjoy!!

In addition to all the sweet holiday treats, our Disney pastry chefs have been busy creating gingerbread masterpieces to get us all in the holiday spirit! Check out all the locations to see these edible marvels!

Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa Lobby

  • This stunning life-size storybook gingerbread house with “cinnamon clouds” puffing from the chimney is beautifully decorated with white chocolate candy canes, edible snowflakes, and sugar poinsettias. Treats for sale include house-made Gingerbread Houses and Gingerbread Ornaments. (Nov. 10-Jan. 1)

Disney’s Beach Club Resort

  • This life-size spinning carousel is a holiday tradition at Disney’s Beach Club Resort. The Little Mermaid is the theme with hand-painted holiday characters, handcrafted gingerbread shingles, and fondant snowflakes. And don’t forget to pop over to the Yacht Club lobby and see the adorable holiday village with a miniature train. (Nov.1-Jan. 2)

EPCOT – The American Adventure Rotunda

  • The American Adventure Gingerbread Display – The EPCOT pastry chefs have recreated the Lincoln Memorial and Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial in miniature edible versions along with The American Adventure building and an EPCOT Festival Holiday Kitchen. (Nov. 26-Dec. 30)

They had a a gingerbread cabin at Wilderness Lodge one year too, I think.

Part of me wants every resort to have a gingerbread display, and the other part is screaming about what a waste of food it is lol.

Yes, they had a smaller scaled one. Doesn’t look like they’re doing it again this year.

Is it possible to resort hop just to see the gingerbread houses? I don't know if they'll allow it now with Covid.... I was thinking of seeing a few of them when I'm down there in early December, but I'm not actually staying on property.

If you resort hop via Disney transportation it's fine. Trying to park at a resort without a dining reservation or as a guest of that hotel; very unlikely, as especially as it's the deluxe hotels which have the gingerbread. If you're an AP with parking, you could park at any of the parks and use Disney transport from there. Otherwise maybe park at Disney Springs and take hotel buses?

FYI, Beach Club apparently has their decor up.

Edit: took down the link bc it's from a "banned site" but a few sites have photos of the VERY cute holiday carousel display at Beach Club.

Thanks for the heads up! Here's a preview photo (not mine) from one of the sites covering the new display.
