Gingerbread house Question

Does anyone know the price of the gingerbread house?

When we went last year it was $ 65 and you had to ship it home. But it is soo awesome looking. If that is too steep for your budget they also sell shingles of gingerbread, whcih we got.

Two years ago, they also had chocolate Mickey's with gold lettering. Maybe they wer for the Celebration that year, but they were really cool, and I think they were around $25. They also sold decorated cookies that could double as ornaments. Not sure about the gingerbread houses though.

Question..............I am going for the first time this December, and had read a lot about the gingerbread house (miniature) . If you ship it home............is it already put together, and does it stay that way??? I would absolutely love to have one!

From my understanding you buy it that night ( they actually have a store in the ginger bread house) , already made up and fancy and you have to ship it back home, I am sure the front desk of your hotel would be able to take care of this for you... and I dont think it would cost that much. The lady we were talking to said you could even schlack it.. I dont know if I am spelling that right.. but spray something on it to make it stay good for a long time. They are really cool !

Thanks for the information !!! I booked dinner one night of our stay at the GF just to see the Gingerbread house!! I look forward to purchasing one to take home!

Does anyone know when the GF Gingerbread house goes up? and when does it go down?

I would also like to know when they take the house down. We've been there before Christmas and it's awesome! However, this year we'll be there the first week of January and I'm hoping Christmas decorations in general, and the gingerbread house specifically, will be up!
