Gingerbread House judging takes over

I love the gingerbread house competition idea. I have enjoyed seeing other players creativity take over and come out with some great guest rooms.

With that said.... I noticed on the calendar that all the other events have been changed to Gingerbread House judging. I am not in the contest. I think it is a wonderful idea but not quite my cup of tea and therefore did not enter the contest so that others could enter (seeing as only 2000 ppl could enter). I am sure there are quite a few other players that are not involved in the contest as well.

So, now the contest has taken over vmk and all events, for now, have been changed to judging even though there are only 2000 ppl involved in the contest. I am sorry but that does not make sense. I was looking forward to the North Pole trading event tomorrow. I missed it every Saturday and was determined to make it tomorrow. Guess that is not happening! (maybe they will still having - hoping!)

Sorry for the rant I but look forward to the quests that the hosts put out there and other host events. I truly hope there are changes made to the schedule in January and some new host events come out. I know the gingerbread house competition is a big deal (especially to those entered it), however, there are alot of ppl out there not involved and I think vmk needs to recognize this.

On a positive note, I have enjoyed seeing all the gingerbread rooms and congratulations to everyone that has entered. I hope you get some great prizes!

Even if you are involved with the gingerbread competition, the house's are built and there is time to do quests. I am sad also, that vmk took away the quests during the gingerbread contest time. But what can you do, they had a reason for doing it this way.

It really doesn't matter whether you're in the competition or not. Judging is hard work for the hosts, but terribly boring for the participants (heh).

Just enjoy room hopping this month to see all those FABULOSO rooms and enjoy hanging out with friends and meeting new people. After all, that's really what VMK is all about.

idk Pink. i understand the hosts are busy and such. But i mean, its unfair to us, the people who did not get into the competition. I, for one, have not made it into one North Pole Trading Event on saturdays because I have a dumb culture school thing from 9-1.

Therefore, i can never get to trade. And tomorrow, probably, i dont have school because it was of the holidays. So i guess probably, no trading event? :[
