That's a great countdown calendar. And last trip my purse kept getting stuck in all the turnstiles...I think they were catching everyone!

I worked hard on that calendar with the intention of using it next year. Maybe we will add some more decorations to it next year.

On the way to DD's school we always see this truck. So today I finally snapped a picture. I think he looks kind of like Mater. Well my DS thinks this truck is Mater. DD agrees and thinks it looks like Mater too...

On the way to DD's school we always see this truck. So today I finally snapped a picture. I think he looks kind of like Mater. Well my DS thinks this truck is Mater. DD agrees and thinks it looks like Mater too...

Hi Karen! HA! This totally reminded me of a truck we see all the time that TOTALLY looks like an old Tow Mater too! It's parked out on this farm and it's an old tow truck - and the kids point and yell "there's Tow Mater" every time we pass it. We are heading that way tomorrow - maybe I can get DH to pull in the I'll take a picture!

Thats funny! It wasn't an easy place to pull in it's on a curve...and I was trying to do it quickly. I'm hoping they were not home when I tooke the picture. I felt so funny!

It's funny how many Karen's I see on here. Growing up I never knew another Karen around my age. The only one I knew I would babystitt her kids.

Hope you all have a good weekend. My husband is leaving for Ohio tonight coming back on Monday night. He is going to visit his brothers.

I am making some fun bags for the kids for our trip. I will try to take some pictures if I can sneak it around the kids !!!!

Since my husband is out of town I almost drove to WDW last night with the kids. I'm having major Disney Withdrawals!!!! But they are getting over a cold and I didn't want to drag them around miserable! Maybe one night next week? We will see.

You need a Disney day!! It's good that you kept them home if they've been fighting a cold though. Hope they feel better and you get d WDW "fix" soon! I need one, too! We're probably going later this week. I was watching the MK good morning/welcome (whatever it's called exactly!) show on youtube last night and dh brought up trying to hit a park at rope drop on his next day off. Love when he does that!

Yes I need a Disney day badly. But we will be there in 13 days....so I'm trying to hold out! I have some treats for the kids but no bags to put them in. I was looking for a cool bag. But can't find anything. It just might be a plain gift bag. Going out after I drop DD at school to find a bag.

Yes he is a party pooper! He just hates crowds, waiting in line, and the heat doesn't help. So I usually just go with my parents. We have more fun without him !

My Dh is a Mr. Grumpy pants too. So I have been able to go without him.
I have a plan for a fall trip for F& W some year but I have to tread carefully.

Yes! I saw you "tree of life" lol! I felt so silly taking the picture of the truck. But my excuse is...I took the picture for the kids .

I forget when your going in Oct this year. I'm hoping to do a girls day trip. I really want to do an overnight one. Not sure if that will work with everyones budget! I love food & wine but the kids slow me down!

Loved the bday trip pics! We were at MK that same day. I actually just found myself scanning through all the pics I took to see you were in any of them. You're not. I wonder if we did pass each other though. We were in Fantasyland until lunch time. (That's the day ds rode the tea cups with Alice!) Going to WDW is getting kinda scary. I can only imagine how many DIS'ers I've passed!

So I left off at lunch @ Cindy's.
Here are a couple pictures my father took while they were waiting for us.

After we met up with our group we rode the magic carpets? And then had our mandatory Dole Whip. Both of the kids fell asleep in the stroller while we were enjoying our ice cream.

They soon woke up and we headed over to splash mountain.
We saw some familiar faces.

At this time I remember my husband want to leave. Leave ? Now! It's only 1:30!! So we talked Emilie into riding SM. The line wasn't very long...so we hopped in it. We should have got a FP for BTMRR. But I wasn't thinking straight.

For the most part she enjoyed SM. The 1st little hill we went over she said "WOAH! That was a BIG one!." The only part she did not enjoy was the big hill. I tried to explain to her that was the fun part oh well.

Little man had fun playing while were were on SM.

The other day she told me she might try riding it again this trip we will see.

So we let them play for a little bit.

Now my husband was getting really crabby and ready to go. Emilie really wanted to ride BTMRR...but the wait was too long. She was very upset.

We decided to take the train back around to main street.
Then we waited for the ferry...

Then we drove home and Emilie opened some presents...

and had some cake

A nice ending to a fun birthday!
