I just love this show! Can't believe the turn it has taken involving the grandparents . I really hope Luke and Loralei and Dean and Rory somehow end up together in the end .

yes yes yes! I really hope so...Luke is like my perfect man...rough around the edges...but deep inside is the soft spot!

And about jess - eh...never really liked him and Rory together...I'm a BIG fan of Dean. (And Dean needs to divorce his wife ASAP...they got married WAY too young!)

Agree with you about Dean getting married way too young...

But I see Jess as another Luke...big and tough on the outside...softy on the inside...jmo...(plus is it me, but I CAN'T STAND Dean's hair!!).

I'm way more into the Luke/Loralei relationship anyway...I want to see some kissing!!

Boy have I missed more episodes than I thought!! I really hate working nights, I miss all the good shows. What is this about the Grandparents? Dean is married? I saw from the show description last night that Luke is/was too?

Wow...you HAVE missed alot. Dean got married beginning of the season to the girl he dated right after Rory. Things are not going well for them. Dean's also working for Loralei and Sookie on their new inn.

Luke got married on his cruise to the lawyer (Nicole) he was dating. They have tried to work it out to no avail.

The grandparent's split is relatively new (just last week). It wasn't really explained, but it's safe to assume it's over the fight Loralei had with her father. Emily is living in a hotel and the girls aren't supposed to know (but they figured it out).

Think I've got that all right.

I kind of like Paris. I liked her last night when she softened just a bit with the prof.

This is the only show I'll stop EVERYTHING to watch. DD and I love it and she's always telling people we're "freakishly linked." Well, we kinda are.

I loved when Luke told Lorelai, "I'm not wearing my socks." DH swears that this is how he'll know if I'm having an affair!

I love the Gilmore Girls and in my opinion it has been the best show on TV these last few years. Let the flaming begin, but I do not want Lorelai and Luke to get together. He is way to pessimistic for her. She needs someone who is not so uptight. I really wish her and Christopher could have made it work, but I guess since he is on his own TV show now, it will never happen. By the way, why have they not done anything more with Shelly or at least Rory's half sister Georgia?

Did anyone see the "Gilmore Girls Gone Wild" episode a few weeks back where Rory went to the beach for Spring Break? I consider myself to be pretty liberal, but I was even shocked. Underage drinking and girls making out with each other to get guys to wait on them hand and foot? Just seemed un-GG like to me and not very family friendly.

I missed this episode, but I did hear about it. Can't wait to see it for myself. I don't know how I'll feel about it until then.

No flaming here, but I don't think Luke is too pessimistic for Lorelai. I think he could ground her in a way she obviously needs. Sometimes I just want to yell, "Take a breath, woman!" (Her cat conniption last night was hysterical!)

I agree about the cats! The striped one looked like our cat Calvin. DH and I kept saying to him, Calvin you're on TV! You're famous! He just kept staring at us like we were nuts!

I love this show too. DD and I watch it together every week.

I like Luke and Loralie and Rory and Dean. I am not a big fan of Jess. And Dean's wife is a PITA. She sits home all day, not working, and complains that she is bored. GET A JOB!

I thought she worked at Dosey's? the "supermarket" of stars hollow? hehehe

And about the "gone-wild" episode...eh...I don't think it was too bad. Kids in college drink...not ALL...but many underaged ones do.

and that paris/rory kiss was nothing, IMO...

GG is TAME compared to The O.C...season finale tonight can't WAIT!!!!

I thought the Beach ":gone wild' episode was a hoot....and probably not showing how acttually "wild" spring break can get.

Funniest- Paris acting like an old woman with the full length cover coat & hat and handing out tips for umbrellas, chairs , drinks an,,,a fruit tray! I wanted to yell at her...to chill -it's Spring Break!LOL
