Day 2
I woke at 12.15, 03.30 and eventually at 06.30. Tony slept like a baby when doesnt he but we found the queen size bed rather cramped. Now, were neither of us skinny, but were not large either but we do have a 6 bed at home and so were used to space. We decided to try using the sofa-bed as well that night.
We wandered to the Marketplace to buy some things for breakfast, bread, fruit etc, and get a coffee and we ate it outside watching the antics of a little squirrel who was running up a tree, running down and then starting again. We then walked to the International Gateway to exchange the PAP voucher for the prized pass the cast member serving us must have been new as it took absolutely ages to process. Keen to try a new experience, nothing to do with being lazy, we took a Friendship boat back to BC via the Boardwalk.
We had planned to go to Mall at Millennia and with a directions card from the Valet parking desk, we set off. Halfway there we decided to go to IOA instead. It was really quiet there at 10.30 with waits of no more than 2 mins at most. We passed on Hulk and Duelling Dragons but did Spiderman, Jurassic Park River Cruise, The Water Rafts, Flying Unicorn and Sinbad. By now it was 1pm so we decided to go back to BCV via Goodings for some essentials. We spent a couple of hours beside the quiet pool before dinner at Boma which was very nice but very busy and oh so noisy. After all the hype, I felt I must try the Zebra Domes but I found them rather sickly. Tony bought an Indiana Jones type hat in the shop hope we dont see ANYONE we know as he looked ridiculous!
Back to BCV by 9pm in time for the fireworks again.
