I'm doing an event for my daughter who is 12,her best friend,and DD's nanny's little 4 yo son. This anticipation is better than Christmas. The kids have no idea so it I can't wait to see their faces! As soon as I find out the plan,I'll post because I'll burst if I can't share.
DH loves me,he even gave me DVC for Christmas,but he just doesn't get the Disney thing,do you what I mean?? I want to share where I know people will be as excited as I am.

wrldpossibility -Our event is scheduled for Thanksgiving week. I emailed Jane on Sunday as I was getting antsy and I remembered reading that if we hadn't heard by 3 weeks before the event to email her. She got back to me quickly.

Y'all notice rie's mom and jpeltier-they're both me. You want to know Goofy? I was off the DIS for a while and couldn't remember my sign on info(jpeltier),so when I signed back up again,I started using rie's mom. Today when I logged on,I automatically used the name on one of my email accounts-yep jpeltier- .I couldn't for the life of me remember that detail a few months ago to save my life!!!! Can I blame it on a middle aged moment?

Update
Jane gave me a few options and I chose The Amazing Family Race-however,it will just be my daughter and her friend working together against the clock. They will have to find clues and perform feats! Christian at 4 is too young for the GOAL projects but he can "help".
I've decided to add gifts from the countries that they visit as part of the game-ex. China or Japan-a kimono(polyester),England-a Mary Poppins doll or something Tinkerbell,France-hand or body lotion,etc. If you of you have ideas for gifts from the countries,I'd love to hear them. The girls are 12 but I figure if they end up with a couple of dolls,they will make nice keepsakes. Christian will also get prizes,ex.England-a toy(naturally)sword and shield,etc.
I told Nanny Natalie last night and she is as excited as I am. As I get updates from Jane,I'll keep y'all informed. Have a magical day!!!!

i did a similar gift hunt for dh through jane - she is FABULOUS!!!! we did a scavenger hunt in EPCOT in which he learned we were doing the disney cruise after we left the parks! she had everything lined up perfect!

i have done three evnts with her and can't say enough great things about her!

Just a word of caution here....Jane and her fellow pixies have asked before that specifics of events not be revealed on the boards. Many of the events that are done are standardized events that the pixies then personalize. Giving away info on the boards could inadvertently spoil someone else's surprise.

Not meaning to be a downer, but you might want to limit your details to PMs.
