I'd love to get some small little treats for my DD to bring back and give to her PreK classmates. There are only 16 total and a teacher. (And an aid)
Any suggestions? We are leaving on Saturday!

There is a $10 store (I think or is it $5) at DTD. All the little things that are good for class gifts. Have fun and happy shopping. A few years back when dd wanted to bring something back for everyone she knew- we ended up with sunglasses- they happened to be under $5 and just about what I wanted to spend.....My dd has received pencils, stickers, lollipops. Oh yeah they sell packs of lollipops(10 packs) in shapes like Mickey or Pooh. Very reasonable!

My daughter gave Mickey RIce Krispies treats for her classmates (17 of them) and got the teacher and aids some souveniers from a 3/$10 in downtown Disney

Last year, I got my kids teachers WDW tote bags from Wal-mart. I think they were $4.00 and they had the castle, characters and the year on it. I just happened to run into Wal-mart for something and spotted them. I know they didn't actually come from Disney but I saved a lot of money. They also had t-shirts for the kids for a lot less than the parks.

Last January, DS8 & DD11 gave each of their teachers one of those canvas Disney tote bags that the resorts were selling (they were only $10.00 each if you spent $40.00 in the gift shop).

When we went back for another trip in May, DD gave her teacher a thermos-type coffee mug with Disney coffee & I can't remember what DS gave his teacher.

We always do note pads and pens for the teachers. As a teacher, I can tell you we use note pads by the dozen! Don't do the whole class anymore, but when we did we got them pencils. Usually found some Mickey and Princess pencils somewhere else though. What can I say - I'm a teacher, I'm a cheapskate. :rolleyes2

17 Days and 20 hours til we're back at Fort Wilderness and WDW! :woohoo: :woohoo:

not so much a cheapskate its called frugal or econmical or bidget minded its my motto!!!
I purchased Disney light up pens with fuzzies aand they lightup I purchased a few a week till we went away and gave them when we came back!! I saw them there and pointed out to DH how I saved 4.95 off each one by purchasing them in our near by Walmart!

Ugh he still got me the Mickey cookie Cutter for 3.00 anyway!!! :rotfl:

lol. Great ideas. Those suckers sound great. Rice Krispies sound good too. I thought about getting some of those pencils that are at Target in the Dollar Spot right now, but then I thought. I want DD to be involved in getting them for her friends and I don't want her to say, "Here you go, these are from Target." lol.
Where did you spot those suckers? Anyone know how much they were?
How much were the rice krispy treats?

My son wants to give out pressed pennies to his classmates, upon his return. They are 51 cents a piece. For our last trip, I bought a package of Mickey chocolate covered pretzels and sent them in to share. For the teachers, I got them each a nice Mickey pen, along with some sort of Mickey treat that the kids chose.

I was thinking about bringing back a couple of bags of Mickey Mouse shaped pretzels -- I'm not sure if they will safely make the trip home. I'll have to have a back up!!

Thanks for the ideas!!
