Hey guys.... Last night while shopping at the Wal-Mart (my second home) I found some of the glow sticks in the halloween section. My dd3 loves them, and I was planning on buying some for our trip anyway. But the cool thing is these are the 6" thick ones that dont break/leak. Another cool thing is they are in such neat colors. I know you can buy them on ebay, but I dont want to pay the shipping. The road flare glow sticks come in such plain colors, but these are neat.

I bought Sleeping Beauty PINK, Cinderella BLUE, Tinkerbell BRIGHT LIME GREEN, Belle YELLOW, Minnie and Mickey RED. There were orange ones as well, but I did not get them.

I thought that I could make my dd a little letter and put these with it. This way she has a special gift from each princess she likes, and Minnie and Mickey. She loved the glow sticks at the beach, so this will make her glow stick more special for the evenings at the parks.....

The glow sticks cost 88 cents a piece.

I just wanted to share, I thought this was a really cool idea, saves some money, and I think it will light up any childs night!!!!!!!

Just wanted to say thank you for the idea of Tink's gifts!! I especially like the glo-stick idea. My kids are 8 - 6- and 2 so these would be awesome for them!! Guess I'll be heading to Walmart and a few other spots to pick up trinkets!!!LOL Thanks again!

Off to Wal-Mart I go. I can't find dd's raincoat anyway so I have to make a stop!

Hey guys back with another thing I found at a place no one would think about. Here in Tennessee we have a place called the Dollar General. I have no clue if there are any in other states. I found my daughter a pink rain poncho with Sleeping Beauty, Cinderella, and Snow White on it. The also have one that is Red with Snow White only. For boys they have Nemo, and Buzz lightyear. They have tons of other Disney poncho's too, I just did not pay attention to who all they had.

I had been searching for a Princess rain poncho forever, and found it last week. I would have never thought that the Dollar General would have it. They are 5.00 each. If I find anyother cool items, I will be sure to start a post.

I am also doing the note idea. With some help from the wonderful ladies over on the craft board, I have created a different note to leave each morning and each night for DS2. I have a welcome to Disneyworld note, several ones with pictures of the castle and fireworks for the background that say "Sweet Dreams" etc., I have an invitation to CRT and a Thankyou from Cindarella for going to breakfast etc.
I will simply print them out on card stock and leave them on his bed.
