Hello,
I have some friends who are honeymooning in Disneyworld later this year. They are not registering anywhere, so we need to find something for them, and I'd like to get them something Disney-related for their upcoming Honeymoon. I thought of getting Disney Dollars for them, but was wondering if there was any other unique Disney gift that would mark their honeymoon there? I know for a fact that the groom would not be into wearing the mickey groom ears, so that would be out of the question. I don't think they will be staying on Disney property, so I think I'm limited to trying to find something specifically in the parks. Anybody with experience in this? Would love to hear any information available! Thanks so much!!!!

They sell bride and groom pins, so if they wouldn't mind wearing those, they're sure to attract attention too. And think about getting t-shirts that say bride and groom if they'd be into that. Depending on how much you're looking to spend you might also think about the dinner shows (Spirit of Aloha Luau and Hoop Dee Doo Revue). Both are fun and take a bit of time to recognize newlyweds without embarassing them. And if you're feeling really generous, tickets to the Cirque du Soleil would be really awesome, though not really wedding related. My husband and I honeymooned there in January and did all these things and had a great time.

kandmwedding, thanks very much. Can I get those pins online? I thought of the restaurants, too, but I wasn't sure of their itinerary (they plan on visiting non-Disney parks as well), so didn't want to tie them to Disney on a disadvantageous night. If I knew for sure they would be at Disney on a certain night, I'd like to look into restaurants and dinner shows. Thanks again!

Another option is a spa treatment at the GF spa. GF Spa I know they have several couples treatment options.

You can always find bride/grrom pins on ebay. Just do a search for "bride minnie pin" or "groom mickey pin" and you'll come up with tons of options. You can also call Disney merchandising and they can help you purchase a pin through them. This is sometimes the cheaper option, so if you can find the phone number (sorry, I don't have it) I'd give it a try.

I think a neat shower gift would be a mickey minnie cake top for there wedding cake somthing i wish we got but didnt and only have 3 days till the wedding

Thanks for everybody's input! The bride and groom pins will be a definite, and I'll go from there. Thanks again!

Hi,

We were married a couple of years ago at disney.
One site I love to purchase things is at Lenox.com
Click on collectibles, and then disney, and then
select your favorite character.

They have lots of minnie & mickey items,
and tons of pooh character things too.
Things are priced from like around $30
and go into the hundreds.
They have cake toper items, figurines,
salt & pepper shakers, keep sake boxes, figurines,
bowls, candle sticks, christmas ornaments, etc.

I just got a minnie and mickey salt
shaker. I doubt I'll ever put salt in them
but they look cute with some of my other figurines.

I've received 4-5 different items in the last couple of
years. Everything has always shown up in one piece.
One bit of warning, things are shipped slowly for
the standard shipping. I'm thinking it took
at least 2-3 weeks for stuff to show up, unless you
want speedier shipping with more costs.

I also recommend signing up an account. I get e-mails
about new items, but what is nice on some holidays I get
notices for free shipping. So, that is always good.

Connie
