Gifts for Bridal Party (Girls and Guys)????

Hey gals,
So I thought I knew what I wanted to give our bridal party...but now...not so sure. Anyone have some fun and interesting ideas? Also any ideas for gifts for readers, parents and so on and so forth. Thanks everyone!!!!

For the guys we are thinking of getting them personalized bobble heads- Bobble Heads or we might go the more traditional route and get them a flask or something with their monogram on it.

For the girls I will be getting them a necklace/earing set that they can wear to the wedding. I have also been picking up little things to put in a tote bag that I am making for them. So far I have disney princess notepads and pencils (I love Target's dollar section).

For my DF's mom I want to get her a personalized handkerchief that says "Thank you for raising the son of my dreams"

For my mom I might make her a scrapbook and also get her a handerchief. For my dad I think I might also get him a bobble head (he would LOVE it).

I don't know if this qualifies as a different idea....but...

My fiance's Best Man is a Fire Chief, so he got him a cool utility knife specifically for firefighters.
And my Matron of honor is getting a sweet silver necklace with a cute little picture of a bird on it because she's got a bird's nest theme for the nursery she's creating for her little girl that she's adopting from China. And she'll get a jade bracelet, and I'm currently searching for other cute items to put in her gift bag. She likes cute, and creative things.

i was in a wedding in march, and the other bridesmaid and i each received a very pretty purple vase, as well as a $50 gift certificate to michael's (we're both pretty crafty). the third bridesmaid, her sister, received a gift certificate for dinner at a fave. restaurant (in boston, where she was from) and something else i can't remember. i thought this was a very nice gesture- although the bride did not have very much money (she was paying for the wedding herself), she gave us very nice and thoughtful gifts, which showed that she appreciated all of the work we had done to help her get everything ready!

for a wedding i was in (in may), we received a pretty earring/ necklace set to wear on the wedding day, as well as a less formal bracelet/ necklace set made of linked silver hearts. while i appreciated the gifts, i knew that they were not chosen by the bride, but by her mother, which felt a bit impersonal. also, the heart bracelet would not fit around any of our wrists..we soon realized it was a set for little girls, not adults, lol!

i think that the price of the gift is the least important- anything that is personal will show your bridesmaids that you appreciate them. a little welcome bag with things for the wedding could be fun for when they arrive.

i've also heard of engraved swiss army knives for guys, which my boyfriend thought was really cool : )

Our wedding is in December but we ahve booked most of our bridal party on the around the world on a segway tour in epcot. For our flower girl we got her some mickey earings to wear at the wedding!

They were mickey head soaps that I got at the home store in downtown disney (now is goofy's candy co), they smelled so good in vanilla! I'm not sure where you could look for them now but try a search on ebay.

One of my B'maids is a Dis'er, so I won't be posting what the girls are getting! Hi Jill ~ you've helped so much with the wedding I want some things to be a surprise!

So far the g'men are getting toy airplane things, spy pens, mickey polos and mickey cuff links, from Disneyshopping.com - use familyfun20 for 20% off! I finally had to tell DH2b that it was up to him to take care of the guy gifts. Everytime I found something for the girls he said to get enough for all of them, hellllooo!? I don't think the boys would appreciate girly gifts! ..and what are the girls gonna do with cuff links?
