Gift suggestions for 8 year-old girl?

My just turned 9 y/o loves Bratz dolls, My Scene dolls, Beanie Boppers and anything from the Build-A-Bear store.

I second the Bratz dolls. My sister is a couple of years older than 8, but she and her best friend are obsessed with these things. My sister has 4 girls, and one of the Bratz boys. They are adoreable, I only wish they were around when I was younger!

I got my 8 year old niece a subscription to Nickolodean magazing (not Nick jr, mind you). She LOVES it. Loves to get mail, is enjoying the magazine and all that is in it.

Polly pockets. My daughter loves them. Personally, I hate the Bratz. I find the name brats very unattractive. Second on the Build a Bear too, if there's one nearby.

Boy this sounds familiar, I just posted a question the other day about a gift for a 9 yr old girl!! (my DD ) After much thought, and then a trip to Sam's Club yesterday, I found the neatest thing for her! I usually don't do birthday gifts early, but she was begging for it! It's a line of products called "Girlfriends" from Mega Blocks. It is a dollhouse you build (not difficult) and you can design in many different ways. It has the furniture and dolls that kind of remind me of Betty Spaghetti. The package I found at Sam's not only has the 4 story dollhouse with 30 pieces but also the stable with another 15! Another neat thing is the mother dolls have a little recording device in them and you can record your own voice and play it back (remember that toy called TalkBak years ago?) She used to love playing with the Fisher Price dollhouse but has outgrown that. She was having a blast last night playing with it!

I have a nine year old girl and for the past couple of years she and her friends all love the craft kits. There are jewelery makers, sand art, bead kits, hair tie makers, really alot to choose from. And, I personally like her to have them because they are not only fun for her but also quite educational.

I have a soon to be eight year old, who by the way loves bratz, I just went to Target and bought a ton of school supply stuff with bratz on it including a lunch bag. and also my daghter loves anything american girl, they sell the books at sams club or you could get her a subscription.
