Gift cards

Can you use Disney gift cards at any restaurant TS or CS to pay the bill. Were not on the DDP.

I know most will take them. I'd be interested in seeing which ones don't take them. Also if you are staying onsite, you can charge it to your room and pay it off with a GC.

So then at which places are not allowed to use a gift card to pay for food.

As long as it's a Disney owned and operated restaurant you can use gift cards. So, say, you can't use them at the Swan and Dolphin restuarants for example, but you can at the Boardwalk restaurants. Does that make sense?
