I know Kohls will take gift cards for payment, but only companies that run their OWN credit cards have that option. Disney Visa is actually a Chase card.

I don't think you can. The last time I had a gift card from Kohls it said right on it that you can't use it to pay your Kohls charge. That was a couple years ago, so they might have changed that policy, but I doubt it.
You can use Disney gift cards to pay for stuff on your trip; what I mean is, if you don't pay for your whole package up front, you can use gift cards to pay, say your hotel bill; or rather than charge stuff to your room, use the gift card to pay for stuff (that's what we do!).
If you purchase Kohl's GC from a "SCRIPS" program - you very specifically can use those cards to pay your Kohl's charge account - you need to do it at a Kohl's store at the service desk. We always pay our Kohl's bill this way. And - our church gets the benefit of the 4% of the value of the cards that we purchase.
