Gift Card presentation?

Anyone know of a cute way to give gift cards- other than just putting them in a box?
I went the Visa gift card route this year- but hate to just give everyone a card to open...

I found these cool puzzle boxes. You put the gift card or cash inside and close it up. The recipient has to solve the puzzle to get it to open. Try a search for "money puzzle", there are several styles.

I have previously given them to my teen-age nieces in cute picture frames, and this year plan to use small versions of those bulletin boards with the criss-crossing ribbon.

How about this: Treat each person's gift card differently, for example one person might get a long narrow box, another person a soft pillow like package.

If you give both the gift card and another gift, be sure the card is taped or fastened in a manner that it would not be accidently discarded with the packaging.

I usually try to find an inexpensive gift to tie in with the "theme" of the gift card.
For example...I got my sister and her hubby a couple of Lowe's gift cards, since they just bought their first home together last month. I bought a "Our First Home 2006" christmas ornament, and put them all together in a gift bag.

My husband's twin neices got an Old Navy gift card each. These were paired up with a couple cute check out stand items (found at Old Navy)

My daughter got a Border's gift card. I placed this inside a diary/journal that I bought at Borders.

Dunkin Donuts gift cards are placed inside a cool coffee mug.

You get the picture. It may add 5-10 per gift onto your total price, but for me, I find it fun to try to find a little gift to match the theme.
