Gift Baskets sent to ASMu Suites

We are staying at ASMu Suites in Sept. I sent gift baskets down to CR last year for my grandchildren, and everything worked out just great. Are they as good at doing this at a value. Has anyone sent a gift basket to ASMu from home. Thanks in advance.

Did you make your own gift baskets? I wanted to to this for my DGD this summer and I started to get stuff to make my own. I'm just not sure how good it will look. How far in advance did you ship it down? I thought I would ship it down about a week before? Does that seem right to you? Thanks for any info.

I made my own baskets. I started to gather things together as soon as I knew we were going and what the date was. I first ordered mickey ears for both of the kids, and an autograph book and large pen for the older one.I used Laughing place.com. I bought shirts and added the date of the trip on the back. I am making my own shirts this year. I got light sticks from the dollar store. Disney cars ( matchbox size) Basebal caps and sunglasses. Bucket and shovels for the sand, and water toys. (small boats) I also got see thru plastic inner tubes for the pool. Disney bubbles. I t is really amazing how much Disney stuff is out there for cheap. I bought baskets to put it all in after easter for a buck at wal-mart. We left the baskets and buckets and shovels at the resort. It was a $4.00 loss. Or give it to someone the last day you are at the pool. This year I am doing it for my daughters kids. Last time it was for my sons. I have already gotten them beach towels with their names on them, Mickey color book, Buzz toy, and a car. The little on will only be about 4 months old, so I got a disney baby bottle, disney rattles and toys. We know it is a girl, so after Halloween i found a tinkerbell outfit at disney shoppping for 7 dollars. Just watch Targets doller deals, and the dollor store. I also bought each of them a stuffed Mickey for one and Buzz for the other last time. They really turned out cute. I had a hard time finding something to wrap them in. In the end, what worked great, was the dry cleaning plastic bag that my husbands shirts come back in. I set the basket in and gathered it on top. Cut off the extra plastic and tied it with a twirly ribbon form the dollar store. I send them UPS about a week before we left. They arrived in great shape and the resort brought them up to our room with a balloon attached to each basket and a card from Mickey mouse.They thought it was great and my son and daughter in law were as excited as the boys. This sounds like a really great idea and what a nice surprise when you arrive. You mentioned you sent them UPS ground and then the front desk attached a balloon and card. Did you send the baskets inside a box or how did you ship them. Just curious and looking for ideas. Thanks!

I put them both in one box.What was nice about UPS you can track where they are each day and it tells you when they arrive. I put a information letter inside the box and then sent a letter to the resort telling them the box was coming. They called me when it arrived and said they came in great shape. Have fun making your baskets!

I don't know if the value resort will deliver them to the room.

Last year when staying at Pop a friend sent me a birthday gift from the Disney Florist and they had it waiting for me at the front desk.
