I was just wondering if anyone will be leaving gift baskets in each one of there guest's rooms? I have read alot about this but I am just not sure if it is in our budget. What have all of you done?

We did not have the budget to do gift baskets for our guests either. Instead we made up envelopes to give them at check in, we left that at the hotels for each room checking in. It contained a current itinerary for the days leading up to the wedding, wedding events with time, location and transportation options, and the tickets that we had purchased for them. We bought Pleasure Island tickets for the night of the rehersal for everyone, put them in there and then if they didn't want to go that night they could still use the tickets during their trip. Although we had given much of the information before we left we thought it would be easier for them to have it in hand (in case it was forgotten or something) at the hotel. The front desk was very helpful at each hotel, everyone received their stuff when they checked in.

DD's guests stayed at our home resort, OKW, for her wedding. We ordered some basic items to be put in the rooms for the guests - donuts, soda, milk, orange juice, coffee/tea, maybe a few other things like pretzels, etc. This gave her guests a little something to start with.

You could create your own gift baskets or gift bags for your guest. (ordering them at Disney can get pretty pricey depending on how many guests you are sending them to) If you take them to the front desk of your resort, I believe Disney will deliver them to each resort that your guests will be staying at for about $2 per bag/basket. At least they use to do this. Someone may need to correct me on this.

Nope I think you're right Meranda at least that's what I was told too.

We are leaving Welcome Bags for each party checking-in haven't quite decided what will go in them yet but things like, tissues, wet ones, lip balm, mints, maps etc etc

My SIL has some blank labels left over from her wedding, (she used them to put on wine bottles with her and her husbands name and date on them). She was going to give them to us to do the same thing, but I think I may use the labels and put them on jar candles and give them to our guests in their gift bags. What do you all think of that idea?
