I cancelled a disney stay but my husband threw away the gift card it refunded to! Is there anything that can be done? Or are we just out the deposit?

Call Disney and ask. They should be able to refund to a new gift card or issue you a check.

Call Disney! It's a pain in the rear but that's your money so be insistent if the CM says they can't do anything & work your way up the chain of command until you get someone willing to reissue you a gift card. They CAN do it. (No, they won't cut you a check. You paid in Disney$ so that's what you'll get back.)

By any chance did you register the Gift Card on the disneygiftcard.com site?

If so, you should be able to see the refunded card there.

The easiest thing to do is to buy another gift card at Walgreens, Wal-Mart, etc., add it to the website and then transfer the entire balance from the missing gift card onto the new card.
