I bought 2 on Monday. Personally I don't get the hype. I got the chocolate chip and the peanut butter. Did not care for either. Definitely a one and done for me

I like them. Not worth waiting more than 20 minutes, but they're good. The crumb cake and monthly specials are my favorites.

Thanks for the warning! I've never tried them, but vowed to try a couple on my next trip. Like you, I wondered what all the hype's been about. Just curious-were they too soft, crunchy, not sweet enough? Anyone want to weigh in with a flavor they'd recommend trying?

You have to go back and try the cookies that are not loaded with "chips" none of those are any good IMO. The coffee cake cookie is outstanding along with the oreo cookie. If they get rid of either of those then we wouldn't go back. I do find there cold brew pretty good but not worth waiting in line for. We haven't tried any of the cakes.

I don’t like how “thick” the cookies are. My perfect cookie is a bit crispy around the edges and a bit chewy in the middle, not just a pile of cookie dough. Eating raw cookie dough is a thought that kinda disgusts me. Crumbl cookies look similar to Gideon’s where there’s just too much “raw” in the cookie.

I'm the polar opposite I hate crispy cookies, the more underbaked the better.

If you live anywhere near a city, you can get the same thing.

Never worth waiting on a line for more than 10 mins tops IMO, but some people seem to love them and not mind.

Just not a fan of the partially cooked thick doughy cookies. We have similar cookies near us that I dislike just as much (but much cheaper). If you enjoy that style, you can have my spot in line.

I really enjoy them. I just like to break off a small piece to have with a coffee. They travel well, are easy to wrap up, so one cookie will last me a couple of days.

I think it's just a matter of wheter or not you like the undercooked or raw cookie dough. Personally, I love it and I love Gideon's cookies, but I can see how others might not. That's fine - more for me!

I don't love them but think they're good. If someone in my group wants one and the line isn't too long, we tend to wait.

Some people genuinely love them. But FOMO has convinced many people these are the Greatest Cookies on Earth, making them willingly wait in 45-minute lines in the blazing sun. And let's face it, you can't show strangers how with-it you are unless you can flounce around WDW with a big brown Gideon's bag as your trophy.

I am of the opinion that everyone has their own opinion. We absolutely love Gideon's. Our check out day is always spent going to Disney Springs, lining up for Gideon's, getting our cookies. then lunch at either Chef Art Smith's or The Boathouse before driving back to Atlanta. We love the cookies and the vibe.

I love them! But we do eat them in small portions. They keep well and are exactly to my taste. The peanut butter cold brew is also worth the wait to me.

Just a PSA, if you think the Guideon's cookies will taste better if you toss them in the microwave for 20-30 secs like you would a regular chocolate chip cookie, the answer is no. We tried that and it really messed up the flavor.
