This is something that i would love to get my three year old for her christmas present, but I can't seem to find any fantastic deals on it. Has anyone seen it come up during any black friday deals? She loves horses, and her sit and push pony is just getting too small. I just can't seem to jstify spending 180.00 on a toy. :scared1:

I haven't seen any this year, but I got it for DS last year. It went on sale at TRU and then they had a coupon for 20% off 1 item so I got it for around $100. He was 2 1/2 at the time and too small to make it go. He's now almost 3 1/2 and STILL can't get it to move. So, really, I paid a lot of money for a horse that he sits on to watch tv. lol They are cute though.

we are really lacking in stores over her in Oklahoma. We have no Targets within an hour radius. No toys r us, no grocery stores, two walmarts. I have a feeling I am going to have to order it online, but the cheapest I can find now is 169. I am hoping that a site somewhere has it for black friday or cyber monday.

Oh, and my DD would be thrilled just to sit on the darn thing. I know her all too well. She likes me to open the step stool so she can sit on the top step to watch tv. lol

Last year at Christmas I remember seeing some largish, solid horses at Walmart that would be perfect for a toddler/little kid tp sit on (they were not the Giddy up n go, just a Walmart brand). You also may want to scout Craigslist.....I have found that, just like DVC waitlist, it does usually come through with a little patience!

I haven't seen any sales for the giddy up and go pony, but there is a really cute one listed in the TRU Black Friday Ad, called Butterscotch. I believe it is made by Fur Real Friends. It's pretty big, and supposed to move and act like a real pony, they can sit on it, but I don't think it actually walks. I think just it's head, eyes, mouth, ect. move and it makes noises. It's listed for $99 I think, I don't know if it's just in stores, or if it will be available online too. This seems like a pretty good deal, I know I seen them last year around Christmas for about $300 at Wal-Mart. :thumbsup2

It's name is actually Smore's, (my bad:confused3), which is made just like the popular Butterscotch ponies of last year, only darker in color.
