Gi-Tar Dan

I don't know if this is the correct forum, but I know the most knowledgable people are here . . .
I saw Gi-Tar Dan for the first time this last trip. I thought he was just great. I'm curious if anyone knows his background. I assume he must be a studio musician, or has other experience in the music business.

Unfortunately I don't know anything about his backround (DS was in a musician for Disney, but didn't know him) but a little trivia I found out recently. B'leu Crabbe at HHI-before he came to HHI, he was a Gi-Tar Dan type at AK for the first couple years the theme park was open.
