Ghost ants?

Has anyone had an issue with ghost ants in their room? I stayed at Wilderness this summer and had to get the sheets changed multiple times because I found ghost ants (that’s what the manager said they were) in the bed. I’m going back this winter, and I’m wondering if ghost ants are a problem all year round. I usually visit in winter, so I’m hoping to avoid them.

Never heard of them...never noticed. We always go in Early May

We've had them at a couple of times at beach condos that we rented out, normally in the kitchen but never on the bed. Another one of our (Florida) bugs

That's awful. We get them periodically around the kitchen sink in our house when it's rainy but they go away quick with ant bait. I've never seen any at disney but you are more patient than I am. If I had any bugs in my bed, I'd ask to move rooms, never mind changing the sheets.

Four December/January stays at Wilderness Lodge, have yet to see an ant or any other bug for that matter!

We've stayed at multiple Disney resorts in the summertime and have never seen an ant or bug in the room. I'd insist on a room or resort change if ants were in my bed. That is completely unacceptable. I would not stay while they messed around with sheet changes or extermination attempts. That is not the experience I'm paying for.

If I were getting bug bites in the bed, I'd be thinking bed bugs..
