Ghiradelli - tell me about it

I've been looking at menus, and I see they have a white chocolate mocha drink on their menu, which is my favorite! Has anyone had it and is it good? I'm also interested in the "decadent drinking chocolate" and the "sea salt caramel cocoa." Are their baked goods also good? Any reviews on this place are welcome!

It's good, long lines, tough to find a seat, the usual over priced. We like it, have been going there for many years.

The original is in San Francisco - the best hot fudge sundae in the world IMO. I never order anything but that because that it what I have had since I was a little girl. They have locations in many major cities (including San Diego where I live now) and I still just order a hot fudge sundae! It is pricey but it is a classic!

I love this place. Whenever we get a chance we stop here. The ice cream is so good, but it's the chocolate that just makes this place. The drinking chocolate is very, very good - very thick and velvety. I haven't tried the coffee drinks yet, though. Usually, I try to limit myself to one coffee drink per day and by the time we head over to the Marketplace I've already had my coffee.

It is on the pricey side, but it's a high grade product. I believe you are getting what you pay for. I don't think you'd be sorry for stopping here at all. I grew up near the original Ghirardelli in San Francisco and stopping here brings me back to my childhood.

Love this place! It's hard to find seats at night, but the ice cream is always good and the portions are just right.

It's not that hard to find seats if you eat ice cream at 9:30 in the morning. I know it's not nutritional but we let DS do it because it's vacation.

The chocolate covered strawberries are out of this world. Funny, I usually sneak in get 3-4 and wait until dd is sleeping...my own personal reward for a long day...I know that is awful, somethings just are not shareable! But she only likes the first bite and I can savor every single bite!

I'm liking that however, I may have to eat them in the bathroom. My Dh will just bite into it and swallow. He doesn't understand the pureeeeee goodness. How much are the choc. covered strawberries?
