Does anyone know the best place to buy these (probably online)? They are so great but SO expensive!! I desperately want to get some as they're the only straighteners that work on my wolf mane! Any help would be very much appreciated - and it would stop me looking like Crystal Tips (the young ones among you may not remember that programme!).

Hello Crystal Tips :rotfl2: just thought I'd mention that when my GHDs went wrong I panicked and bought a pair of babyliss straighteners from Boots (around £20) to tide me over until I could afford another pair of GHDs. I would never spend the money on GHDS again now as the babyliss ones are just as good.

hi I got mine from www.ghdhair.com they were expensive about £100 however I have seen them on ebay for a lot less.
I think boots do them as well however not 100% sure.

Im with Carol on this, I got Babyliss after mine broke to tide me over, and they are just as good. Never bothered getting a new set.

I didn't buy my ghd's from them, but I do buy a lot of stuff from Look Fantastic. Their member price is £78.95 (it costs nothing to join), which doesn't seem bad.
