We're going! I got a code in by email that was only good until tomorrow - so we're checking in for Thursday night. (The kids have a PD day Friday so we'll leave at lunch time tomorrow - they'll only miss a couple of hours of school.)
Wolf Den Suite incl taxes $226. Not bad!
Hi,
We were there April 17 and it was awesome. When you check in ask if they have any upgrades. We were upgraded to a Majestic Bear Suite for 75.00. The room was 149.00, with the upgrade it was 224.00. To book that room it was 479.00. The next time we upgraded to a Kid Cabin for 50.00. That time we paid 229.00 with the upgrade-the room was 279.00. That room was going for 579.00. If given a choice I would pick the Kid Cabin even though it is cheaper I love that room even better. It had a fireplace and the kid Cabin part, plus it was waterpark level.
We went to GFL last week for this great rate of CAN 129.00 (week day).
I was impressed with the hotel, water park and staff. To be honest, after watching the animatronic show with my 2.5 year old at 8:00 PM, I even had the impression for a few minutes I was at WDW
There are so manu things to do. The water park is huge and it has attractions to every range of age. The Cub club or kids club where kids can paint, draw, read books, etc was great. The arcade was fun to go to, but you need to be careful, at some times it looked like you were in a casino
The only drawback to me was the price of food, specially breakfast (CAN 15.00 not including refill of drinks). We ended up being charged for coffee and a second glass of orange juice.
Other than that, I really recommend it. I learned about GWL here at disboards and I am very happy to have gone there with my family.
