GF Questions

I am about to book the GF for 9/22 - 9/29. I'm reading some stuff about construction. Where is it? Would you not book there b/c of it?

Anything else I should know about GF? It'll be me, DH and our almost 3 yr old son.

How are the Garden View rooms? Anything I should try and ask for?

They are adding on a new area for DVC members. I've never stayed there, but I wouldn't stay there during the construction (that's just me). It's the #1 hotel I want to experience, so I want it to be as perfect as possible (as of now, we're going to try and stay there December 2013 - hopefully everything will be done by then!). The spa is shut down for the renovation - but there is a spa at Saratoga Springs that you're referred to if you want to experience one.

I have heard it's an absolutely beautiful hotel, no matter which room you get (garden view, theme park view, etc.). I just wouldn't want to spend that much money until it is in it's normal condition .

Someone who's stayed there recently can probably answer this better for you. Have a great trip!
