GF or VWL?

As one can see by my signature we are going to WDW in Dec. We are going from Dec. 10th to Dec. 17th. Right now we have a lodge tower room booked at the GF. It will be me, my fiance, my mother and her mother. We have booked a package that includes dining. My sister might be joining us for this week. I know 5 adults cannot stay in a lodge tower room. Suites are out of the question because of the price.

We are very set at staying at a MK resort. I was thinking of switching our reservation to two rooms at the WL or to a 2 bedroom villa at VWL. My only concern is transportation. We are planning to use Disney transportation our whole trip and I've read that the transportation from the WL can be terrible at times.

I didn't think 5 adults at a standard room at the Poly or GF would be enjoyable.

Any feedback on transportation to and from the WL would be appreciated and so would any other suggestions.

Me either. I can't imagine my mom & in-law being in the same room for a week no matter how well they get along.

Transportation from the Wilderness Lodge to the MK is actually very easy: just hop a boat and it takes you to the front gate. It's maybe a 10 minute trip.

Considering that your contingent is predominently female, I suspect they might like the GF a bit bettter. It's, well, more femine. Flowery decorations and pretty pastels and all that.

Would it be any more expensive to get two rooms at the GF than to spring for a 2 BR villa at the WL?
