Can someone please provide me with a postal address for management at the Grand Floridian as well as someone I can CC: a letter to about small incidents that happened while we were there. Thanks!

I don't have the address but did you mention any of this to anyone while you were at the GF?

They do try to go out of their way at WDW to make sure everything is right with your stay.

Not at the GF, in our opinion and experience.

The General Manager's name is Kent Mitchell. You can use the P.O. Box 10,000; Lake Buena Vista, FL 32830 address. Address it to him in care of the Grand Floridian. Make sure you also write General Manager beside his name, so they don't think it's for a guest. You may also contact guest services through the Disney web site. In the past, I've had better luck with them than writing the GF directly when we had our many incidents at the resort (notice where we stay now). Good luck!

FYI, without being specific to avoid a debate on the board, the letter I am planning to send includes praise and disappointments that were all mentioned to front desk cast members during our visit. However, I feel that following up in writing might ensure that the negative incidents don't occur with future guests and that they keep doing right exactly what it is that they do right! We loved our stay and will return - hopefully without incident next time!:D

I'm glad they took care of your problems while you were there. Writing a letter is always a good idea for follow-up, especially to offer praise for CMs who go above and beyond.

We had a few minor issues at the parks and the resort during our most recent stay at the GF. I was very surprised that they didn't have any type of comment or feedback cards available. I ended up addressing my comments through the guest services e-mail address on the Disney website. They acknowledged my e-mail and followed up with a phone call from the executive office.

I too wrote directly to Guest Services through the Disney site as I had a bad experience at the Poly last summer and they were very nice. They replied to my e-mail, as well as calling me on the phone to discuss what had occurred. You will get much faster and better attention going directly through Guest Services than sending a letter to the hotel directly. Trust me, Guest Services will be in touch with the hotel because they do followup.

Sorry to hear you had some disappointments at the GF. Unfortunately that seems to happen a lot from reports on this board. We had a so-so stay in April. I also advise to send an email to Guest Services. They are very good about responding.

P.S. My best stay at a deluxe was at the Yacht Club - perfect in every way! :earsgirl:

Just so everyone knows - we had a superb trip to the Grand Floridian and it spoiled us on all other Disney Resorts! There were some minor things regarding a lost item and my wife's medical condition that I wanted to follow up on!

Just send a note to Guest Services and they will get back to you. You can write them through Disney's site.
Good luck.
