GF July 2013 and Construction

We are planning our summer 2013 trip and we would like to stay at the GF SL CL. With the construction going on for the villas will this be a problem? Noise, dirt, view blockage, etc.

I noticed that there is a wall that was put up in front of the rock pool that takes away the view to the lake, will that still be there a year from now?

I also read that opening isn't until the end of 2013 but could be as early as July 2013. Does anyone think it will be done by then?

I'm not sure if I can answer your question, but a couple of years ago there was construction being done at GF and it was right in front of our room but we weren't in the main building so there was a chance of that happening. It was very noisy and it was a little disappointing because when you book a trip (especially to Disney) you want to have an almost perfect experience. Since we love GF so much me and my family booked another trip to GF this August towards the end and we heard there was gonna be more construction and one of the pools will be closed when we are there, but I'm not sure if they will be doing the same construction that they are doing when I'm going and when your going, so I don't know if I answered your question.

Thanks for your reply. I was just wondering if anyone has had serious issues with the vacation club construction while staying there.

We'll be going near the end of construction so just wondering how things are now.
