GF designated toaster in DVC??

Here it is simple and to the point. Are you able to request a designated GF toaster for any of the DVC resorts or should I just bring a cheap one and leave it behind?

I dont' plan on cooking alot but we will be doing some eating in the villa...

If you are truly sensitive enough to need a dedicated toaster I would bring my own for 2 reasons:
1)You have no idea if somebody else has "Cheated" while they had that toaster
2)If they were going to have allergy specific toasters, I would expect it to be more than gluten free (is your gf toast egg/dairy free too?)

If you are comfortable with somebody potentially having used it with wheat toast, then by all means ask, but if you are comfortable with that you probably don't need a dedicated toaster.

We've been DVC member for 20 years and, in that time, we have needed a new toaster a few times because the one in our room did not work. Each time, we were brought a brand new, never been used toaster. It wasn't in the box, but you could tell it had not been used because there were no crumbs whatsoever in it. These were at OKW, but I assume all the DVC resorts would have new toasters for when they need a replacement.
You could just call Housekeeping when you get there and ask for a new toaster (if the one in your room is not already new.)

Another alternative would be to make toast in the oven if you don't want to bring or purchase a toaster.

Ok, I still have not figured what meals I might be doing or snacks, like I said I don't want to really cook on vacation but my son might want to make some toast, I will just bring a cheap one and leave it behind....
