GF buildings

We are considering staying at the GF on our next trip, in your opinion which building is best?

It would really depend on which view you were interested in booking.

I agree with ducklite. We normally stay in the main building in room 4404 and have a view of the marina/castle. This time we are in the Sugar Loaf building with a pool view. Wanted to try something different this time. Here is a map of the GF and maybe that might help you. Have fun planning.

We will probally book a garden or lagoon view room. I dought we would stay in Sugar Loaf or th main buiulding as they are concierge buildings. We just want a good central location.

Conch Key has the best Castle View rooms. None of the Castle View rooms are going to be the closest to the main building. For that you'd probably want to book garden view and request Big Pine Key--which will also put you closes tot the main pool.

In all honesty, none of the rooms are more than a 3-4 minute stroll from the main building. As much as it looks spread out, the GF is actually a fairly compact resort. It's really lovely there. Don't miss the housekeepers do their parasol dance in the mornings by the pool. Ask which mornings they're doing it when you get there.
