Geyser Point Bar and Grille

Hi there...can anybody tell me, from personal experience, whether you can use a quick service dining credit at Geyser Point. We stayed at WL two Christmases ago and it changed part way through from being able to use a QS credit to not being able to.

Sorry if the question is a bit long winded.

We are off to CSR on Wednesday and so excited.

I'm sure you can use the QS at the counter service. Don't think the lounge area takes any dining plan.

Seating for the counter service includes the padded benches within the enclosed area, and various types of seating around the perimeter. The tables surrounding the bar are reserved for waiter service via the lounge.

Geyser Point does not take the dining plan. You wait for a hostess to seat you unless you sit at the bar for a drink.You can use it at the quick service counter .If you go to the counter service you are allowed to sit outside the enclosed area not inside at least that's what was happening last visit.

Actually there are some padded benches near the kitchen area that you can sit at for QS w/i the enclosed area at least as of April/May 2019.

We used the dining plan there last fall. It is considered Quick Service even though you get seated and have a server, so your meal is just your entree - no desert included. It does include a bar drink, but from a designated menu and not just anything they can make at the bar.

We are planning sitting down and ordering burgers/sandwiches as well as drink. Will we be able to use QS Credits for the food?

Geyser Point was my husband’s favorite QS location. We went there in April and it was very good. Great food. We had it while we were at the pool.

For information, had lunch today at Geyser Point Bar and Grille today and was able to use a QS credit. We were seated and ordered off the regular food menu and regular drinks menu. I had a Bisson burger, waffle fries and a delicious Mai Tai cocktail. We also had a fabulous server.

You can use a TS credit, because you can always go down, but you won't get the benefit of a TS credit (ie - no desert). We actually used a Deluxe Dining Plan credit there because we were just too pooped to go anywhere else, but we only got a meal and a drink (no appetizer or desert).

We actually used a quick service credit as we are on the Disney dining plan. We had one entree and one alcoholic beverage.
