We booked this trip less than 3 weeks in advance as a combination of my birthday celebration, need for continuing education, and one last chance at using our annual passes. It is almost embarrasing to admit that this will have been our 5th trip on said passes. The combination of DVC, annual passes, low air fair, and moving closer to family has made the pull of WDW apparently irresistable. In fact, we are already booked for a trip with the family in less than 3 months. We flew ATA out of Indy, were upgraded to a full size care from L&M, and made our PS at Rose and Crown by minutes. We had hoped for outdoor dining for illuminations but were seated inside. Our meal and serivce were good, and our waitress escorted us out to the Illuminations viewing area for the show. On return to our table, 2 glasses of champangne with strawberries awaited us, a gift for my birthday. I had booked a room at the Ramada Inn Eastgate for $36.00 including taxes via Hotline for this one night as in the morning we were headed to Ft. Lauderdale to visit family and do some continuing education.
We returned to VWL 9/15. Our ground floor room was ready by 1pm. It was hot and we opted to relax by the pool. The next morning I walked on TT, RRRC, and MS. Met up with Darlene MK and walked on PP, SM, and BUZZ. Had lunch at Columbia HH & headed back for a swim and nap. Did PI & enjoyed Adventurers Club/Comedy over loud music & dancing. Must be getting old eh? Made it to midnight but the fireworks were not impressive. Following day at I got my hair cut on Mainstreet before EPCOT lunch at Lecellier. Dinner was pizza/wine poolside, caught the water parade, & hit the hay early. Last day consisted of packing, poolside, & outlets enroute to the airport. Home again with our girls safe & sound.
