Mr. and Mrs. Gazer. DD's Eden (8) Sydney (5)

Pre Disney:
Left for Indy 12/27/04, watched Shark Tales and had dinner at Cinema Grill. Stayed at La Quinta to enable early ATA flight and extended parking. Long security lines, arrived in Orlando 12/28. Rented compact car from Alamo for around $200, good service. Drove 5 hours to Hilton Head, met my parents who drove from Chicago.

Disney's Hilton Head Resort:
Checked into a 2 bedroom (2422) with nice marsh view close to the pool. Had pizza at Guiseppi's which was fine. Rented bikes 12/29, enjoyed riding on the beach, hot tubbing, swimming, and playing games throughout the trip. Sydney still chickens out of the slide once she sees the rushing water up top. Attempted to find the "Sea Shack" for dinner but could not. Enjoyed the campfire and smore's instead. Had a good lunch at the "Captains Table" and grilled steaks for dinner 12/30. Had crab legs and played games New Years Eve, was barely awake for midnight. Again enjoyed B'lou Crabbe's magic show New Years Day. Headed for Orlando the next morning, stopped at the outlets and had pizza at Giordonos (quite good) before checking in.

Villa's at the Wilderness Lodge:
Had a 2 bedroom facing the bus stop (4548/4550). Panic 1/02, we did not bring our park passes or vouchers! Fortunately I had copied the tickets and were able to replace them, while my SIL next day aired our breakfast vouchers. Did MGM (Edens first TOT and RRR) including Prime Time Cafe (Good fun, fair food) and Epcot (Loved Turtle Talk with Crush) 1/03. Crowds very managable but no room at Le Cellier for dinner, had fish/chips instead. Did Blizzard Beach 1/04, Sydney still at fear factor stage, Eden did all but Summit Plummet. Back to Villa's for beach cookout with my recent arrived brother, sister, and their families. Had a great time and enjoyed watching "Wishes" fireworks. Swam all day 1/05, perfectly hot and sunny. Had clam fettucini for dinner. Did Crystal Palace breakfast with Pooh and the gang which was good and fun. Enjoyed Fantasyland with the entire gang, then broke off for Adventureland ourselves. Headed to Epcot for a Crush reprise, walk around WS, and finally our dinner at Le Cellier (which Sydney slept soundly through). Carried our sleeping Daughters form the bus stop and crashed.

Post Disney:
Made our flight home 1/7 just in time. Returned home to iced over trees, followed by 5 inches of new snow later that night. It is beautiful but I could sure use a swim in the pool about now.

PS:
-Double check that you have all your tickets, and bring a copy of them before leaving home.
-Be careful not to leave your park pass in the fast pass machine, I did this x2 (duh!).

Wow! What a trip! It sounds like you had fun. My DH and I will be WDW bound in about 3 weeks.

Thanks for the report!

Marie
