First we booked the BCV for the first time because of the pool (SAB) and now part of it is closed?!? :guilty:
Now I saw the pics of Cindy's castle!?! :guilty:
Next I hear of the uncomfortable mattresses....
Am I getting information overload? :badpc:
How to cope? Should I call BWV and see if I can change? I hear great things about them. Please help.

Only a small part is closed. You could always "hop" over to the BWV pool if you wish. In fact, I read that DVC is even providing shuttle service if you wish to use the BWV pool.

Not much you can do about that. Unfortunately rehabs are part of the risk when travelling in the off-season.

The ones at BWV are probably the same as BCV. If you read the same comparison that I did, the basic observation was that SSR just happened to be soooo much better. I won't argue with that observation, but I recently stayed at BCV and had zero problems with the mattress.

Naah. Just pre-trip panic. You'll get over it. :p

If you think that will make you feel better. I assume your trip is over MLK weekend, so it may be impossible anyway. I'd just stay put if I were you. The reality is that over the next 40 years you will probably have very good trips and not-so-good trips. Hopefully this trip will fall into the first category.

We stayed at BCV for the first time last March. The matresses were FINE!!! On the other hand, highs for the days were in the 60's. We did do a little time at SAB but the kids were blue and shivering in about 20 minutes. I know you are from a cold place, but I still don't feel the this is the best time of the year to make swimming a top priority. JMO. How can such a huge pool possibly be heated enough? You will probably be more comfortable in the quiet pool anyway. I would keep the ressie, it is a beautiful resort and a great location :D

Hi,

Mom & I just stayed @ BCV in December! It was great & we slept good too. Don't worry & have a great time!!!

Naw, the negative posts have got you down. We had a great time at BCV in October and our room was immaculate.
